An example that made no sense in the context of the post it responded to, which was about the way Parliament bottled their responsibility during the Brexit fiasco. You were referring to politicians being liars. There were plenty of them involved in Brexit but not in a way connected to this issue.

Blair being one of the biggest liars in UK Political history surely? Weapons of mass destruction? My a**e.

My own view is that Blair has been given a hard time over this and there remains something we don’t yet know. No evidence but it just doesn’t feel right.

I also think there is a difference between believing something that is subsequently shown to have been untrue and lying about it.

Nice use of taxpayers' money by the government to convince BMW to put up with the 2024 Brexit export tariffs, that will hit them by building a new plant here.

Well quite. Almost sounds like a desperate ploy to create a positive headline approaching an election year.

Slight tangent but relevant – it's worth digging into the revised ONS percentages behind the headline of 'economic performance was actually much higher than recorded'.

Whilst the statement is not untrue, check out some of the revised figures that contribute to that headline figure. For example, manufacturing sector numbers. Some, like steel production have been revised to -66% DOWN. It's hard to know exactly what this means without proper evaluation, but it's an example for both sides to always look at the detail rather than a catchy headline.

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

Yeah, like the 'suicide' of Dr David Kelly.

You don’t accept it was suicide? An inquest and 2 enquiries do.

He was clearly disturbed by something. Whether the interference that has been alleged Campbell did to the dossier or that he had alleged interference knowing it to be untrue are only two possibilities.

I saw an article recently which surprised me greatly.

The UK is the 8th largest manufacturer in the world ahead of France.

I am not claiming this as a Brexit victory but we are so used to being told we no longer have a manufacturing base and we are a service economy I didn't expect that.

Even if it was suicide, driven to it by Bliar and Campbell with their dodgy dossier. That in its self is criminal. Personally I am yet to be convinced it was suicide
