We must stand and be counted and demand Gallagher if they desperately want Olise. I know we have a good relationship with Chelsea but we can’t constantly be cap doffing (if that’s the expression) and wringing our hands nervously in negotiations. In my time we've always bent over to be shafted by the bigger clubs. Starting with Peter Taylor, Kenny Sansom....

Love Olise. Agreed! As far as I’m concerned , if none of them care they can all f*** off and rebuild . I only want players at our club who want to play for us. I loved it in the lower leagues.

Why would any of these rich ratbag clubs want to sign him while he's injured and there's another window in 4 months? They can let us pay for his treatment and rehabilitation then see how he's playing before triggering the same release clause.

I reckon they are pulling our chain here and trying to unsettle both the player and the club.

Agree 100% What club would ever buy a broken player and take the risk of them being a permanent sick note..................

I would imagine that the queue of clubs wanting to sign him would be shorter if he was still injured (easier deal / lower price) whereas if they wait until he is fully fit & showcasing his talents every game they would have more of a struggle. Originally posted by Teddy Eagle

For me I would love us to keep Olise but he has had his head turned and will possibly go now. This started many years ago and one of them was Keane when he transferred from Nottm Forest and Clough said afterwards he would pay another £100k on top of the £1.5m paid by them. This will continue until the people in control do something about it.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
