Summing up at the end of her trial, judge Mr Justice Goss told the jury it was a case in which the prosecution "substantially, but not wholly" relied on circumstantial evidence. Appeal was always going to happen.

The whole life tariff is pure revenge and only shows the state to be as inhuman as they accuse her of being. You do talk bollocks, unfortunately most of the time. An independent judge decided to give a whole life sentence; it's nothing to do with the state.

Simon 'history debunked' mentioned something about a new legal precedent.....where a crime is committed and the identity of the victims is not available. was Letby a Nazi type ? and it has been suppressed ? what other explanation for all the gaps in the story ? well, it seems the journalists & criminologists will debate her motive til the cows come home.
