Fair play, it's still an ampition of my own.

Certainly not the 9 clubs who finished below us last season.

In the Premier League, there are only three clubs who finished above us that you could say we could be disappointed about.

One of them has just come up, so have money to spend. One is punching far above its weight but has only been in the league for a couple of years and has a good manager. The other has made great signings, is very well run and has had two good managers.

We can reasonably hope to finish above those three, but then you must consider the teams who finished below us who would expect to finish above.

Chelsea, West Ham, Wolves, Everton, in fact pretty much all of them say for Bournemouth could make a case as to why they should finish above Palace.

Some big clubs with pedigree and big fan bases.

We are doing great just to be where we are, like it or not.

I presume that after reading this thread Mr Parish has packed his leather man bag and left. Damning indictment.

I've seen him with one mate, getting out of whatever sports car it is. If you drink in the Fanzone, you get to see him turn up. I know, what's wrong with your old school ruck sack like real men use? Heard a rumour he even brushes his hair, carefully though to avoid losing any more strands.
