The only way CPNP could be considered would be an investor in CPFC with funds to spend of say £1 billion. Totally doable but not on the table today. Sounds like we have got shareholder support for the approved scheme anyway and I can't believe we would change from that now. If we ever grow and we ever were to find the big investor well then we could re visit CPNP then. But in the meantime I look forward to Parish realising his dream at Selhurst as approved. Bring it on.

Hi Dreamwaverider, That sounds nice from an aesthetics view but isn't the whole point of the new stand that it offers a premium experience which is where the money is for the investors? Whatever Steve and team have decided you can bet it squeezes every penny out of the creation they have made, plus if the White Horse end gets a second tier in phase 2 it will only be the Arthur looking a bit out of sorts with the rest of the stadium and unless the Investors can buy out the houses behind the Arthur i'm not sure you could raise the roof to build more seats. Could be wrong but that's how i understand it. Originally posted by dreamwaverider

Hi Rob Im no expert but if we cantilever the roof and slope it upwards from the back, Im not sure the difference would be seen by the houses in Park road, or that it would affect their light.

Getting rid of the gantry as the cameras will be in the new stand should sort all that can be done with the Arthur, plus make it look a lot better on the tv. plus of course wrap it round to the Homesdale

Where is Sadie Khan when you need him. Ian assuming Chelsea will have to find equivalent suitable accommodation, as we had to.

There’s no way to redevelop the Arthur to get the right balance between expenditure and return due to the planning constraints. It could be developed, but as any solution would be severely sub optimal due to the restrictions the costs would far outweigh any benefits.

Ha, interesting idea then. Would be great if we could sort the Arthur out. After giving up my season ticket in the Holmesdale a few years back i only ever get tickets in the Arthur for me and my boy and it's poo. Originally posted by dreamwaverider

They wouldn't have to wade through p!ss in the toilets, get squashed in the concourse and of course be able to see the actual game from their seat at the back. But feck 'em, the mugs will come anyway.

And it won't ever be extended upwards for the reasons outlined above – and the fact it wouldn't benefit the homeowners behind.
