I was there. A real low point apart from the fact I won the half time draw - £350 quid if memory serves, at a time when I really needed it.

It was a good point and let's be honest who wouldn't have settled for that before kick off?

I’d of bitten your arm off Teddy!

Even towards the end when we looked the more likely I though ‘just see out the draw’ lol

I was fearing a loss to the Welsh in the rugby today and an easy win for Liverpool but with such a low bar I can sleep quite contentedly!! When I eventually do of course

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

As has been said we were strong in defence and midfield, kept a top 6 team mostly quiet.
However when we got into their final third we just have no ability or know how to create anything. Only Olise seems to get defenders scared. JP held the ball up today well but we just pose no threat in the actual box.
If we want to get to the next level we have to sort this next season. JP isn't good enough and Pat must think Edouard is too lazy/also not good enough.

Liverpool are dirty

They are dirty. They're not professional; they are cynical. It's always the same with the "Big" teams who take it in turns to collect yellow cards when the need arises. They can then get subbed off and another international brought on to replace them.

What does it say about a so-called attacking side (which I believe is what we want to be) if we look like we don't actually know how to create anything outside of individual magic? Surely this should be Vieira's bread and butter?

We got a point against probably the worst Liverpool side (form wise) that we've seen for a while and we managed to do it with no shots on target.

I'll admit we looked quite solid but I'll stand by what I've said for some months now it's another point towards a relegation battle which I genuinely believe we will end up in.. Our woeful lack of creativity and goals will come back to bite us in my opinion... Naturally I truly hope I'm wrong!

This is our 10th Premiership season I think and some fans are still giving it the 'just remember where we were 12 years ago'.. Ffs how many more years are we gonna drag that statement out for? We all remember it but life goes on and we can't keep bringing that up as some sort of excuse..

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

A draw was a fair result in my opinion ( unlike the Brighton game when we were very lucky to get something out of the game ) As others have said some very good performances - thought Guehi and Doucoure was supurb and Lokonga looked decent. Liverpool looked tired at times and when Eze and Edouard came on we were really on top and i thought we would go on and win the game. However, Klopp strengthened their midfield and there was not much in it at the end. No injuries and with Wilf back soon we nearly have a fully fit squad to choose from for the final third of the season.

Very happy with the point today. We played Liverpool hard, and deserved everything we got. All things considered, the 3 points should have gone to us over them.

Guehi/Andersen are excellent in our back line, and Doucoure/Lokonga have quickly come together as an excellent pairing. Olise is class, and we should be getting Zaha back, and maybe Macca. Eze is still a good option. Ideally, if we had a better RB/LB and one decent forward, we could be really dangerous.

As long as the trio of Mateta-Ayew-Schlupp is in the starting line-up, we will struggle to score.

For all his faults I think if we still had benteke playing for us we would have won tonight his heading ability and hold up play is far better than mateta , can’t believe I am saying this but with Olise supplying good crosses he is exactly the front man we could do with

Agree with much of that but why pick out certain positions for upgrades ? Our full backs actually had decent games last night Clynn kept Jota quiet who was eventually subbed and Salah did little with Michell on his case . Better players in all positions are always welcome of course , including full backs .

All but the top clubs in the country with loads of cash to burn are struggling to find a striker . Look at any fans forum in the bottom half of the table and its basically the same story as ours , a decent side but nobody up front .
The reason for me is that defenders have got a lot better , teams are better organised and only the very best strikers stand out .

Got to be happy with the performance , COYP

Congratulations, I'm glad someone got SOMETHING out of being there last night. It was 94 minutes of soulless non-entertainment with predictably, no goal attempts by Palace on target. A wasted opportunity to get three points from a poor Liverpool side.
