Just read that ahamada doesn’t have to serve a suspension as he was still technically a stuttgart player when they played last night. He was sent off in his last game for stuttgart. Would explain the late announcement and very clever by our board

What did you expect? Stuttgart have been in relegation struggle the whole season. They wouldn't have sold a player with the ability to have an immediate impact in a PL side for 10 Mio but had kept him for the rest of the season to stay up. Hopefully one for the future.

Yep…definitely one for the future….but this is not the right time to be experimenting with different players. Roy will chose those he knows will do the job he wants - sorry for those who were in PVs plans - but that’s football. Interesting that Ward was back and Captain in the second half. Roy knows the importance of having experienced leaders in the team.

Roy knows the importance of having experienced leaders in the team. Liam Brady said about 40 years ago that fans have club loyalty whereas players have manager loyalty. One buys you for a fortune on all kinds of promises then gets sacked and the next one aims you out. There are a few exceptions but it's probably quite true.
