Love Wardy, but Clyne gives us so much more at right back.

Totally agree with this. Ward has been a great servant but his lack of pace has become a bit of a liability, especially with Anderson inside of him. Clyne gives us better cover and balance.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

The referee took his time in awarding the penalty it wasn't an instant decision.Having seen the slow-motion replays, I was expecting it to be over-turned.

So pleased to see Doucoure back but was wondering if Hughes or Luka would have been a better option than Schlupp. Shows what I know! He had a very good game - kept things simple and we ran the midfield. West Ham have some very good players, though I’d not take any of their back line over ours, so obviously great to win after such a good performance but only 6 shots on target with that much possession shows how much more we need to improve.

On the train home. Took my son with today, as he has never been to West Ham. When we scored in injury time, everyone in the away end went crazy!!! My son is still grinning -said it was a moment he’ll never forget. Trying to think of the last time we scored in injury time and won a game?! It is normally the other way round!

Southampton away last season. That was good fun as well 😃

Never mind Willo, I got it wrong too!

What do you mean - Willo will disappear for a while now until there’s more doom, gloom and demise he can predict - been doing it for over 10 seasons now..!!

My visualisation of Willo is “eeyore” - always seeing a dark cloud, heffalumps or woozles on the horizon..!!

Sorry Willo - luv ya really..!!

The one negative (and I'm being picky). We still need to close in on that final pass. Finishing is fine but turn possession and creative work into shots on site and we could be where sandcastle are. Too many errant last passes.

Not as bad as the shirt pull on Eze ( he didn’t go down in an embarrassing fashion) or the Rice tackle on Wilf

Would you say so because the stands are very far from the pitch and there is a lack of atmosphere?

Schlupp and Doucoure good pairing today in midfield.

Downes made a difference for them in midfield when he came on, but I am at an absolute loss to see where the £180m they spent in the summer has gone! Bang average if you ask me.

Still the worst away ground in the Premier League. God knows how their season ticket holders put up with that nonsense every other week. Killed the football club, I used to enjoy going to Upton Park, but everything about the whole experience is bad. Totally sterile. Hope Palace never move to an entertainment complex on a greenfield site.
