I’d rather spend the money on Gyokeres from Coventry. They may well sell him if they don’t make it through the playoffs. We have a few who can play out wide including those currently on loan. We have no decent centre forwards. I think you're right about Gyokeres but it's still possible Coventry will come up through the playoffs. I think it's almost certain Zaha will go, but it's not obvious to me that Sarr will necessarily be the best replacement. There's a lot of business to do in the summer window. A Wilf replacement, a driving midfielder, a new RB or RWB and cover for Mitchell. But the most important new signing would be the new manager. My personal preference would be to stay with Hodgson for another year to oversee all these other changes. Or if we do get another manager, to get him in as soon as the current season finishes.

Or depending on what happens in the play-offs, Jack Clarke from Sunderland, i really like the cut of his jib. Good shout. I remember him in his early days at Leeds. We took a look at him then before Tottenham stepped in. Useful looking player.

We have no decent centre forwards. That's the nub of the matter. We need another Glen Murray and Gyokeres is a similar, bustling striker who will perform at any level and at 24 still with his best ahead of him. £30 million hopefully will get him if Coventry don't go up. But I fear Palace will go for another Sorloth, Mateta non-performing waste of money.

More click bait about Sarr. A couple of seasons ago Watford wouldn't sell him I would not be surprised if they are the ones planting the stories with the media. Not rubbish but if you can't shine in the Championship....

Under the right manager and in a better team I still think Sarr will be very good. For a counter-attacking team his extraordinary pace sets him apart. I do think his price has been over-inflated based on his stats, but if we could get him For nearer £20 million I think he'd do really well for us.

Practically the definition of an enigma as far as footballers are concerned. He should be the stand out player the championship, but you only hear about him in a blue moon.
