What a move for Wilf that would be. Would tick all the boxes for him I’m sure.

Account breaking this has a lot of followers ..

If there's truth in this it'd be hard to begrudge him the move.

Colwill and Gallagher in exchange.

Gallagher is priced at £50 million, Zaha about £25 million at best.Zaha has one year left on his contract hence the price.

There is no actual price though is there. I.e if they really want Zaha then they'd need to give us something that we also value.

Gallagher, Colwill, Broja are all players I'd consider taking in return.

Zaha is still our only reliable and consistent game changer at this level.
Olise has great potential but at he moment seems injury prone and at this stage of his career it would be unrealistic to expect him to take Zaha's mantle.
Eze is clearly talented but is a different player to Zaha.
If Zaha leaves it's a huge gap to fill.
I wonder if it's partly why we're linked with Lozano.
He looked outstanding when he burst onto the scene with Mexico a few years ago, but I've lost track of him subsequently.
It's a gamble if we let him go as Zaha is proven at this level over a number of seasons.
From the club's perpective though , he only has one year left on his contract and it's possibly the last opportunity to realise some value if he's not signing a new deal.

With just one year on his contract left ,it’s more than possible clubs will be making noises for Wilf. It has to be possible he will go .
But have to agree if that happens ,it has to be considered a big lose. It’s only pre season , but after seeing every game, it’s still the case that Wilf, in the scoring and assisting goals department is the main mover. Working with Viera, has certainly motivated him, as a season or so back he had lost his mojo.
This is little alarming in some ways because no one else appears to have the effect he does on opposition defences.

He’s almost gone next year anyway. I love him but maybe nows the time to let him leave and on our terms. Can’t begrudge him this move. Massive risk for us if he does indeed go so It’s all on Dougie. Not sure how you replace Wilf tbh.

Second that! Not sure if the Chelsea boss appreciates Conor G. the same way we do, so maybe this might happen.

Zaha's a lot more valuable than Conor. But Zaha's got to go sooner or later so now that Chesea are desperate it's probably time to do a deal. Zaha for Conor sounds fair as Zaha's contract expires next year. Personally, I'd still prefer Zaha stayed. But we CAN live without him. A few young players look to be taking hold of Zaha's mantle. With a strong squad, a strong midfield, a strong defence, we can finish mid-table without Zaha. In fact, if we HAVE to release Zaha, NOW is the best time to do it - not when we're looking too weak.

He is having a very good pre-season….he knows he is ‘on show’

If he goes, huge loss, but we move on…

His end product is there but he has been really careless in possession constantly giving the ball away and not always getting his head up when arriving at the 18-yard box. He is basically playing quite selfishly, in my view. Nonetheless, he does still look the most threatening player for us and if he did go we don't currently have another player who makes things happen like he does.

If he goes now it's with our thanks after a great season. I'd miss the entertainment, but definitely not the petulance (which has also been on show in preseason).

Seemingly every year with get this blooming saga in pre-season apropos whether Zaha is departing or not.

He was our top goalscorer last season, scoring almost double the amount of the next highest scorer and his departure would leave a significant void and diminish our chances of remaining in the PL.
