This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Supposedly, there is a super-injunction in place preventing the media from revealing that Starmer has been fined. Apparently, he is appealing it.

Not sure how true it is, and how he could even appeal it, but plenty of white noise around...

A super injunction. Even boris didn’t try that one.

I thought there had been some in place for several years. I am not sure so I'll ask my wives and multitude of kids.

The former head of the CPS using legal methods to prevent a crime being reported - sounds to good to be true!
If this was a "story" about Boris the media would be crucifying him right now - injunction or no injunction!
If true them Sir Kier is toast at some point soon - hilarious and hopefully true!

I reckon he might stay. From what I had read, the issue is about a witness who was actually at the event landing him right in it. Usually, I would dismiss the gossip as being put out by the Tories but everything seems to point to sources within the Labour party being the ones sticking the knives in.

Throw in his 'pledge' on the EU yesterday (from a man who almost singlehandedly led the charge for Labour to adopt the second referendum position) and I suspect that many people want to see him gone.

What I really, really want is for Starmer to be fined but not resign. Wot Larks!

They are all arrogant, corrupt and think that they are above the law - that includes Boris!
Nearly 60 MP's being investigated for sexual misconduct I heard - everyone else is guilty until proven innocent nowadays - not something that I agree with by the way - except this lot whose names never appear in the public domain.
Parliament is a dreadful place and to think that this lot hiss and spit at each other whilst running/ruining this great Country is a disgrace.
I don't care what their politics are - their morals are those of alley cats!

I don't care if Starmer is guilty same as I didn't about Boris, for me a none story on a minor transgression of incomprehensible COVID rules. Whether he goes or stays is up to his conscience and the Labour Party.

However I note that some people who demanded Johnson resign are already defending Starmer assuming he is fined (not the same thing blah blah).

Usual tribal politics, my side good your side bad.
