I think Clyne signing a new deal puts this to bed as we now have three senior right-backs on the books (albeit Ferguson is a question mark with his injuries). I think it's more likely we'll move for a new centre-back with one eye on the future.

AWB is on a bad run/low on confidence with Utd. That club has a toxic core which seems to be ruining all players at the moment. He'll be back to his best with a run of games. He's an out an out right back meaning he's more suited to us playing with a flat back four, rather than as part of a back three or as a wing back.

We all love Wardy but his pace has gone. I see him being used as a utility defender/squad player. Clyne is also the wrong side of 30 but to be fair, doing well. AWB would be coming home and at 24 is the perfect long term solution.

Ferguson. Well, will he ever recover and if so, will he reach the level we need him to be?

If we can get AWB for around £15m, I'd say it's great business. RB is definitely an area which needs strengthening.

In the main I agree with everything here.

Ferguson - A null point in my opinion. Can't see him ever playing again for us and certainly not at a PL standard, in any near future.

Clyne - Was very impressed with him the longer the season went on. If that trend continues then happy days.

Ward - I think will stay on as a utility defensive player, thought he looked good at CB last term. Club Legend for me and very much loved in our household. Not a 1st choice RB but value in squad still.

AWB - Yep, a longer term solution for me, I do see it within the realms of possibility that he could recapture form at Palace, just my opinion. Again though that would depend on finances. Even £15mil not peanuts but anything beyond that I'd struggle to endorse.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Man U apparently are looking to sell AWB rather than loan him out. I don't know what our transfer kitty is but I doubt it will allow us to fork out even £15m for him and fund the more pressing needs in midfield.

Yup which is why if he comes to us we will be the club of last resort and probably late in the window.

Correct me if im wrong i think Man u still have not paid in full the 50m so we may get him for a extra 15m on top of what they have left to pay , so may not be out of rage and we took Wilf back and made him happy with football again

I could always invent some spurious and fantasy based 'rumours' or 'insider knowledge' if you're craving CT?

So there's no difference between being at a big club and being a first team regular? Fair enough.

Have you read what I actually said and replied to?

The suggestion was that big clubs only sell players who are on the way down, or want to move to a bigger club.

I provided Guehi as an example of this not being true - Guehi is neither on the way down, nor are we a bigger club than Chelsea.

Whatever other point you’ve made up in your head is up to you.

Really? Thanks. That's good of you but I'm saying is that a youngster trying to make it at a "Big" club is different to an established first team player. If you cannot see that then crack on.
