We were simply outthought and outplayed by a much better team.

Rubbish, a better manager maybe, we started with to defensive a formation, no need for two DM against Leicester, Eze should have started, when he switched to 1 DM and 2AM we were much better, but we were two down, and he didn't switch to the 58th min, Gallagher was Awful running around like an idiot fouling everyone, hope PV learns to change things quicker

It should be common sense to any good manager, PV has not proved himself yet, he has started ok with Textors money, but he started well at Nice before getting the sack, and don't forget he was Parish's forth choice

You win some, You loose some. We lost to a better team on the day after a good run of results! Get over yourselves!

I would not be surprised if we have our flip flops on in the league for the rest of the season! no relegation worries, no way we get europe unless its through the cup.

What more does Vieira have to do to prove himself?

It was a very light-hearted poke at your constant insistence on Eze being the best player on the planet, as yet not recognised by the rest of the footballing world, and assertion that PV being fallible or perhaps just not making a decision you think would be best, is indicative of his failure as a manager.

It was a joke, a Christmas joke. But if you want complete sincerity, your constant moaning on here and bizarre assumption that you know better, let alone the boring and ridiculously narrow threads you constantly start, almost all of which can be boiled down to 'play Eze' do resemble the mindset of myself as a grouchy teenager thinking the world is upside down, least of all the football league, and if people had only listened to me we'd all be OK.

And for the record, I am well aware of PV's Nice record, I do think Eze is a great little player for us however trust that his absence from the team is relative (fitness, sharpness, tactical etc.) and whilst I do have very strong footballing opinions, I do enjoy the counter balance of others opinions too, or at least I factor them in to my own thinking and I actually have a Season Ticket, as I have done forever, and strangely do actually go to our matches.

We're comfortably mid-table with a promising squad as it stands, in the FA Cup semi-final and if I know anything, footballing opinions will always be subjective and theoretical as virtually impossible to prove otherwise.

So chill, Winston.

To my miniscule mind, it would appear that Vieira believes that his best midfield trio is Gallagher,Kouyate and Schlupp and Eze for all his qualities is not preferred ahead of the aforementioned trio.

The narrative has been that Eze would be fit to return to action at the start of the year, and here we are in April and he has played second fiddle to those above.

The substitution of Mitchell disturbed the balance of the defence. Ward was inevitably brought on as he is a recognized full back on the bench.

The question is why was he on that bench, when without him we could have put Schlupp at LB and brought Macarthur on at the point.

Never mind, the moment's gone and hopefully Mitchell and Olise are starters next Sunday.

Reported on BBC that he wasn't best pleased in being taken off but then he was on a yellow card. Suspect he will be okay for Chelski, Olise as well hopefully as somebody mentioned he was at training last week. Cotton wooling him for Sunday perhaps ?

Hughes, Olise & Mitchell 50%, Ferguson Totally ruled out(poss season)
