Much better today. We play better against sides that don't sit-in and park the bus. We need to figure out how to play against these teams with games coming up against Watford, Burnley, Stoke and Wolves.

Always that feeling at the end of the game, knowing the other team is going to score :_-(

No shots on target in the entire game.

Yet again we concede near the end, it is so predictable,

Yes we play very well, but not in those vital areas that are the difference. between success and failure.

OK but we're not beating those lesser sides are we?

No not at the moment - but games like today prove that things are moving in the right direction.

I look at this way - this season was always going to be a season of transition - new Manager, new tactics and at times 7 or 8 new players in the starting XI..!!

This was always going to take time - that much was always obvious.

But I'm confident we'll avoid any entanglement with a relegation battle - irrespective of today's results those in the bottom 3 will struggle to get to low 30's in terms of points come the end of the season - if they even achieve that - Norwich won't..!!

For me given the changes we have made a season outside any relegation serious relegation issues would be a positive.

Do that it is next season with a couple more additions we will start to reap the benefits from the changes we have made.

But in the meantime we've got to accept it is work in progress and so there will be bumps along the way.

But performances like today prove we are moving in the right direction - keep on this upward curve and we will be fine..!!

I can’t help but feel total frustration after that game, too many late goals, no winning mentality , can’t finish in final third , can’t defend set pieces all season,
Have no doubt will be involved in a heave relegation battle and we don’t Have the players or coaching staff to pull us out of it ,
My mates say to me “trust the process” what process? We had more points this time last year and could beat the teams below us, this season? Well right now we can’t beat anyone…. Not that I expected to beat Chelsea but we had managed them all game then once again lapses of concentration in last few minutes , I feel sick with that

And to anyone saying we still have 26 points compared to anyone else ?
I’d prefer to be a Burnley or a Watford or Newcastle with their results today then be tumbling down the table with 2 wins in 14 games? Like us

I’ve never been so frustrated with a palace team in my 33 years

Wednesday will mean everything and I have no doubt we will lose ,

This is unbearable. Yet another match with points lost in the final minutes. Add this to the experience of watching Palace do the same v Brighton, Arsenal and Leeds. You walk home in a daze of disappointment and also worry that we are not safe from relegation. How much more can we take?

The right place at the right time

I like what we are trying to do, and to be fair many of us have been crying out for us to play more attractive football.
However, it has not got us results in the last 6 weeks.
I thought earlier in the season that we were unlucky in not getting more points that our performances warranted.
I hoped that the luck would even itself out and that we'd gain some lucky points.
However, there's no sign of that happening and there seems to be an underlying brittleness in the team leading to the concession of late goals.
It's also a concern that Vieira does not seem to have much confidence in our 3 strikers. Draws will lead to a nervy end to the season and we have to find a way of creating and scoring more.
Perhaps playing with two strikers would assist with Gallagher making runs into the box so we get more players in the area.

Success is us passing the ball around, never thought I'd see the day, what's the rush with you?

The rush is to get the season over as we are trying to do what many teams have done e.g charlton , Portsmouth Norwich (on many occasion) Fulham (many occasion) and we simply do not have the players to do it and stay up , this is what everyone wanted right? The old dinosaur hodgson out who played bad football it kept us up and someone else who would make us a team like we are ? However the team that we are are someone who anyone in that league would love to play now and we are in serious trouble

Thoroughly cheesed off with that. Not a game we deserved to lose. We weren’t great but neither weee Chelsea. We need to take our chances. Just like Liverpool it has cost us dear.
