Ask Wisbech, he's the leader of the Biden fan club on here

Have to wonder if Trump colluded with Johnson in the £10,000 scam which " cost " WE 10K, which for the record, I do not believe.

Edited by HKOwen (16 Feb 2022 9.24pm)

So did WE lie or did he inadvertently mislead the Hol ?

It's quite something when 'evidence' comes down to your opinion.

The evidence against this idea that Trump made his own policy without advice is so copious I just don't know what to say to you....Even in the anti Trump books, one of which I read, it's clear as day. But you seem incapable to adapting to actual 'evidence'.

It seems much more something when anyone denies the evidence presented to their own eyes and ears. Trump had an opinion on, and a response for everything, and it is perfectly obvious that he listened to no-one and nothing but his own belief in himself. The only ones able to restrain him were the attorneys. You had only to witness the way his "cabinet" responded to him in meetings to know they knew very well only to ever tell him what he wanted to hear. Say anything else and you went out the door.

Your voice isn't 'joining with others', it's on a Hol football forum....wake up and smell the coffee WE...this is a place for letting off steam and nothing else. If you were serious about 'joining with others' you should be spending time on Twitter or something more mainstream.

The 'GOP' members on the Jan 6th committee have been ostracized from their own party. They won't and don't have any 'anti Trump' influence. To do that you have to carry actual weight in the GOP.

Your understanding of the GOP is extremely wide of the mark. I mean you were actually suggesting Mitt Romney would be a strong contender for post election leadership....I had to mock you then and it's a shame that you still don't have a clue about your political opposites rather than this exaggerated demonisation.

I'm not trying to disappoint you but Trump has far more backing in the GOP now than he even needs to run again....all this irrational hate just makes him stronger in his own party...hardly rocket science. The GOP is a Trump party now and as he's obviously decided to run again they will be right behind him.

He isn't my preferred candidate personally....There are lots of reasons but like I've said in the past I think both Trump and Biden are too old to be heading superpowers, let alone parties....even as figureheads.

I am active in a variety of ways. Forums, blogs, and discussion groups. I have a Twitter account, follow a number of people and are followed by others too. I won't share the detail here. The Hol is where I go for football news, and then to catch up on current rambling right-wing rants. Some of that "steam" is amusing. Some very disturbing. All are useful.

That the GOP leadership remains heavily influenced by fear of alienating Trump supporters is undoubtedly true. The tentacles of that fear reach deep and far, including onto the Jan 6th Committee. However, that influence won't last forever. Trump, thank goodness, is uniquely awful. No-one else comes close to being quite so bad. The dog fighting over who will try to assume his crown is already underway, and brings the benefit that all (but Flynn) are professional politicians and not jumped up reality TV stars who were previously dodgy businessmen with mob connections. Dog fights like this will be always destroy things. So we just need to hang on, and the GOP will return to decency. How long is another question. Mitt Romney isn't there yet, but if, as I anticipate, Trump is destroyed in Court, along with all his closest associates and the truth begins to dawn on the Trumpkins, the GOP may well want to wash itself clean of every last trace of Trump. Who better to do that than his biggest critic?

A week is a long time in politics, and we have many weeks before this is all over. As I have said many times, be patient. I predicted Trump would be dumped. So far, so good.

Am waiting for the report......tbh, it's not fair to apply the same standards to those of advanced years, like Biden

This was 100% Johnson.

As I said previously I won't reveal the detail in open forum, but it's no lie and should anyone want to know they are at liberty to send me a private message.

If I trust them to maintain confidentiality I will explain. I have already done so to those who have responded.

It demonstrates very clearly what a populist is prepared to do to maintain his popularity, and just how far our standards have slipped.

The fact that you think, from your leftist perspective, that Trump 'is uniquely awful' makes me smile when Nick Fuentes represents the right wing of the America First movement and would blow your eyebrows off.

Both the Republicans and the Democrats are really just controlled by their donators and are really just versions of the Likud and Yesh Atid in Israel.

That you think Mitt Romney is somehow suddenly going to at some point lead the Republicans again when America is increasingly polarised is just deluded. You claim to have republican friends but I think that's a lie because you just don't seem to understand people who think differently from you. I told you what was going to happen after the election and it happened, Trump has just grown stronger within the Republicans and people like Romney have little to no influence....which has been true for years now.

But you carry on.

Well, that's good enough for me.......time to raise the bulls1t flag me thinks.

An unsubstantiated allegation, moving on

I will happily apologise for imputing WE's veracity if the claims that he has lost £ 10,000 can be substantiated.

Given your attitude to me, I wouldn't share the detail with you anyway and really don't care whether you believe it, or not.

It's true. I know it's true and so does anyone who has asked for, and been given, an explanation.

It's pretty clear....well at the moment that if Trump dropped dead tomorrow that the main contenders would be DeSantis, Youngkin and Cruz....with DeSantis the most popular of those three.

DeSantis has said he won't run if Trump does....He's clearly lining himself up as the heir apparent. It will be interesting to see who bothers to challenge Trump come the candidate phrase....Probably Cruz will because we all know that secretly he can't stand Trump but he isn't stupid enough to blacklist himself within the party.

We should be very very worried in the uk- not because of Russia, but because we have Liz Truss ! I have never seen such a shambles, she nearly had an orgasm wghen the ukranian called her his friend-she looked around the room smiling, like a child, lapping up the adulation. Her Russian equal called her ill prepared and clueless, and after this conflict is settled, by the main players, Liz is one of the favourites to take over from bungle. Hard times are here, and I fear harder times to come, for the next few years at least! God help us!

I have loved the TV coverage of the Ukrainian 'crisis'. From the stage-managed shot of what must be the only black kid in Ukraine being shown how to assemble an AK (and to think how the Left have cried all those crocodile tears for Child Soldiers in actual African counties) to the latest showing the damage from a supposed Russian backed rebel shelling of a Kindergarten which only lacked a scorched plastic dolly as the cherry on the 100% astroturfed scene of carnage and its been a master-class in trying to convince us all that the big bad Russians are going to invade poor little Ukraine.

And all because Bidens son is a bought and paid for Kiev stooge. History will not judge them well.

There's only one person who knows what's playing out here, and it's not Lavrov.
