I do like Veira’s passion at end giving the ref a bit of stick.
God he suffers with us because he gives a sh1t.

Well played Palace. Unlucky.

Such a shame. We played with passion right up to the final whistle. The crowd were brilliant. Sky commentators were not.

Olise must start from now on and Luka must not.

Still, despite the result, it was a great game of football to watch. Bit worried about Ayew though. Hope it's not too serious.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Also to see Wardy trying to calm him down. Ward deserves Captain’s armband every game. Proper leadership.

Olise on the right, Ayew left, Edouard up top, Hughes, Eze and Gallagher in the middle we really don’t need a lack lustre Wilf.

A lot off positives to be taken from that match.

Luka given another chance but once again looked off the pace, but aside from that I actually thought it was a good performance against a full strength Spam. If Gallagher had been playing we'd have got at least a point. Soft penalty the difference. If ref doesn't think it's a penalty when he can see it from 8 feet away in reaL time then why has he changed his mind?

Ayew has really grown into the season and has become our standout performer. He's going to be missed, but now it's a chance for Olise to step up. Edouard worked really hard again but needs to sharpen up his finishing. Shame we never pushed harder to sign Antonio a few years back.

Our hands were tied today with team selection, I was dreading seeing Luka today on the team sheet, and sure enough it cost us. The trap door is open now for him as we enter January and I really do think Wardy needs to be on the bench as a back up.

We played well and lost, credit to West Ham their first 2 goals were quality and Lanzini always scores against us, doesn’t he?

If he had brought on Eze as well as Olise who knows what havoc the pair would have caused today?

Jairo strange substitution but we nearly made the point at the end.

I sincerely hope that Luka is not selected again - he adds nothing to the team.

We actually beat them on 'expected goals' by 2.71 to 2.23

Well played Edoard, Ayew and Hughes. Fabulous double save by Gauita
in first half and Olise is sheer class !

we played better after Luka & Benteke left the pitch.

We are defo good enough to finish in the top half of the Prem table.

Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford

I agree Olise should start On right with Gallagher and Hughes in middle and Wilf on left.

I’d also like Vieira to give Mateta a run with Eduardo. Benteke couldn’t complain as he’s been given more chances than a fox in a crowded chicken coop.

Great effort from Mateta at the end...Perhaps don’t write him off so quickly.....we need strength in depth anyway...
