Unsure he offers anything different or better than what we already have. Perhaps keep Mateta til the of the season, see if he can impress enough to warrant a permanent singing and if not look elsewhere?

Totally agree he was rubbish tonight. I didn’t want us to sign Eduardo after the Rangers game then the next couple of days he signed. Please Dougie steer clear of Eddie N let Brighton have him based on the Notts F game and he can’t get in the Arses team on a regular basis.

Whilst I agree he did not have a good game neither did the whole Arsenal team. Their midfield was lacking in any invention which made it difficult for forward players even Saka looked poor and we know that is not the case. The only point I would put is that he is a very different centre forward compared to the similar Benteke and Mateta. He is much more fluid running in behind. Whether he is good enough Vieria will be the best judge of that but he would add a different dimension for us. COYP

This position has been our weakness since AWB left and sadly Ward is getting found out far too often. On the Nketiah front - I think he is exactly what we need and he wasn’t the worst Arsenal player today. I’d be delighted if we signed him.

I agree with you,he's a quality player and you can't judge him on one game. He plays for the England U21 for a reason and is a goal scorer.

I like him and at 22 still has room for improvement . I dont think we can really turn down opportunities to sign this sort of quality if we have ambitions of progressing
