Prince Phillip would certainly be chuckling at the hysterical BBC coverage.

Their online form had to be taken down aa they could not handle the complaints.

What brand of logic, do you feel, does the BBC employ to cancel 'Fawlty Towers' and replace it with 'Eastenders'.

I wanted to watch the program on Churchill's WW1 but they even cancelled that!

Perhaps they think PP sent out for a kebab and watched ten-year old repeats of Eastenders?

mmmm not sure maybe he did......

Remember Jimmy Saville died a free man.
Can you remember who was his best mate?
It was Prince Charles.

Saw them having a pint with Lord Lucan down the spoons in Bracknell.

I hope you never do jury service.

Ha!
Is that the same department of justice that threw out over 500 Saville victim claims on grounds of insufficient evidence? I think you'll find Sir Keir Starmer made that call too. The BBC knew all about his behaviour but chose to turn a blind eye.
And what about Prince Andrew, Hrolf?
Do you really think our royal Family is squeaky clean and above reproach?

Do you think that it's acceptable behaviour for two people to try and monopolise a thread by continual defamatory mud slinging when the vast majority are trying to pay their respects

You don't have to blame anyone else for this thread taking a turn from its initial emotional outpouring.
The bad is all mine.
I stand by everything I posted but will say no more.

How on earth you have managed to turn the death of Prince Philip into an anti "lefty " rant against the BBC is impressive but a little obsessive. That said...

Liza tarbuck's Saturday show (the acceptable face of the normally execrable MOR radio 2) was inexplicably replaced by dragooning paddy o'connel over from radio 4's Sunday morning current affairs flagship show broadcast house to play gentle music to sooth the nation.

That wasn't respectful it was bizarre.

they need to put nice soft cuddly programs that don't upset us in our hour of need, our patriarch is gone, we are lost, Daddy's gone, I'm confused, I can't get out of bed and I'm soaked in my own wee wee, gentle music and a bit of Eastenders please, and a nice military tattoo, the rhubarb's grown quickly this year hasn't it, mine's a large one, shiver me timbers why is everybody shouting?

Is anybody?
I am suspicious of everyone, but none more than those who wish to conduct agenda driven witch hunts without any actual evidence.

Put up or shut up.
