In recent history LGBT+ communities have had it far worse than black communities in recent years. When you consider they were not allowed to get married until 6 years ago, many countries till don't have equallity laws for them, and many countries still have laws that actively persicute the LGBT+ community. That's institutional homophobia. Up until very recently, songs like We score 5 they scored none Brighton take it up the bum were heard round Selhurst, and "gay" is regularly used as a slur. If you substituted them for a racial slur then their would be outrage. However, gay activist just through a massive party based on love and kindness. It's a far more effective campaign stratergy than smashing stuff up and demanding respect at the same time. I do think more underhand tactics are at play here. Redfish, the Russian state owned alternative news site has been promoting nothing but tenuous race inequality posts for weeks. Given Russia's record on racism and homophobia, the intention must just be to devide people and disrupt the west.... and it's working.

Anyone else noticed how the Reading attack has now been practically memory-holed by the press? It happened on the 20th June: 6 days ago.

Apparently reports of multiple stabbings in Glasgow. Eyes down bingo cards ready. Mental illness clinches it.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

My sympathy to their families I think we can guess the biography of the attacker. Update MSM reporting it was a hostel for Asylum Seekers. Edited by Badger11 (26 Jun 2020 3.48pm)

From the BBC on the Glasgow murders: It is thought the Park Inn Hotel is currently being used to house asylum seekers. From a spokesman: "There could be a number of motives for this. Obviously some people might think it is a terrorist incident because we've had a recent tragic event in Reading, but it might not be. It could be a domestic dispute, someone who is having mental health problems.

What a misnomer the Conservatives are. They have no interest in anything other than liberal Labour social policy, albeit it a speed limit. Pathetic.

Patrick Harvie, co-leader of the Scottish Greens, says it is “reassuring” that the stabbing incident in Glasgow is not being treated as a terrorist incident, but it is still a "deeply distressing time for everyone involved". The Park Inn Hotel was being used to house asylum seekers while their own accommodation was being refurbished. "Without getting into speculation about any kind of connection, we can say Glasgow is a city with a long and proud history of welcoming refugees and asylum seekers," Mr Harvie told BBC News. "It is also a city where there has been a strong desire to treat refugees and asylum seekers with decency. That hasn’t always been the case in the UK asylum system." Mr Harvie claimed the way asylum seekers have been treated during the recent coronavirus crisis is "clearly well short of adequate".
