Next 5 games, 6+ points, if not fire him. New manager in place for pre season either way.

I'd give him 3 games max. Zero points ta ta. As you say, new manager in place no matter what.

Why do we insist on playing 3 defensive midfielders and 1 upfront every week, not my words but comes from a tweet by SP now deleted. I think Roy's on his way out

No!
Who the hell could improve on our present level, given the almost total lack of backing in the transfer market, over the last few seasons.?
The squad is two thin to go through 38 games in the toughest league in the world. That’s the problem. Not Hodgeson. Unless that is remedied, there is not a manager out there that could improve our long term future in this league.

Guilty as charged Your Honour.

Get real!!!!!!

My point being smart ass, is that he soon disappears from the lime light when things aren't running smoothly. Maybe I'm old school, but I prefer an anonymous chairman to someone who hogs the spotlights.
Watch him pop up again if we miraculously win three games on the spin.

Not presently. The squad cannot be changed by any new manager. Fair enough somebody new at the helm could tinker around with the personnel but ultimately the squad needs reshaping and that can now only happen in the summer. Happy to see him leave then. Surprised about his pre Everton quotes about the management trying to negotiate for next season. Think they should wait until May to see where we are. If we do go down then expect him to resign in anycase.

I think SP has been very mute this season. Suggests something might be wrong internally within the club's higher echelons.

Squad too thin, not backed in the market - we are in the top 20 globally in terms of our wage bill. Poor management somewhere along the line.

Big no from me, but we must be planning for whoever is next, whoever it is will however have to be able to play in a similar way to Roy, we are not a big club and will struggle until we improve the ground, bigger crowd, larger revenue, and just to be clear, the way that Roy plays with a fully fit squad, is much much better than some on here post, a half decent striker and we would be in the top half

No,atleast not yet! However, I'd give him 4 more games-zero points, then that's it. Even with a thin squad and a continuous lack of investment,a better tactical manager should or might get better results.

Do we really think changing the manager is going to make the slightest difference. What difference is a new manager with no money to spend going to make. We have reached our level with the current squad, wages, youth development, players we can attract etc.
For Palace to progress we either need a massive injection of cash or a Southampton type of set up where young talent is developed to its full potential.
