He does not sign the checks. The free and cheap transfers he has identified have mostly done well. It is the big buys which were seemingly sanctioned by previous managers and the board who have provided poor value.

Brinscall Eagle, nothing personal against you mate, but enough of people posting what they talked with their golf buddies. Most people are idiots. He has a dumb opinion and some of those players are actually very good. Supporters tend to be unhappy abd say things that really should be disregarded. This "I was talking with my friend at a beer" needs to stop.

To be fair, what Brinscall Eagle or his buddy said was true - None of the mentioned players are worth any sell on value as they are all over the age 28. Add them to an already ageing squad and it will just see us worse off in the long run.
