Just reported on SSN from outside the ground that If the anything chances in the Zaha sage. Fyodor Chalov will pick Palace over the other interested clubs. At present no more bid have come in from Zaha. If vids do come in then he will have trouble travel. On that note Zaha was at the training ground briefly this morning before disappearing ?

So if im hearing this right, We will only sign an attacker/striker if Wilf leaves? The funny thing is, Wilf probably wants to leave BECAUSE we dont sign forwards and players that generally improve us going forward. If he saw we were really aspiring to break into the top 8 or so teams, im sure he would have no issue staying. Instead we painfully hobble through transfer windows picking up cast off hitchhikers as we go.

Rumour mill [Link] now saying Brighton might come in for Chalov. On YouTube and from reading about a bit he sounds like he could be a Batshuayi type forward with a good goals to game ratio but maybe not contributing defensively or to the team as a whole. Ayew has been great this season, but I think he could do just as well on the right of a front three with a poacher like Chalov looking to feed off of him and Wilf. Given Roy stated that we did try to sign him and that we may go back in for previous targets this one could possibly have legs (well I hope so for 20m+ anyway!)

19 games this season with 5 goals in Russian league. That said we were supposedly sniffing around him in the summer and Roy has stated that we are looking at previous targets. Suppose it would depend on why we didn't sign him in the summer.
