So you had a trial with palace back when we were in the old Div 2 in what, 1968 or 69? and got pied off and that somehow makes you more of an authority than anyone else?

It was before that actually and no I wasn't pissed off I didn't make the grade because of my eye sight I wasn't that great at heading because I couldn't afford contact lenses at the time. I've never claimed to be more of an authority than anybody else but it pisses me off when people who have never played the game tell me I know nothing about football.

Likewise you Meyers children. Anyway you are the most negative, moaning, whinging poster on this forum and reading your s*** no-one would ever take you for a Palace supporter. You would even find fault with Man City!

More fantasy.

Total garbage as always, at least you are consistent.

Yawn. Boring.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

That was tragic ... we played centre midfield players on the wing again ...
Yet in the squad we had Zaha, Townsend and Sako.
I don’t understand Roy and his negative tactics. Zaha is a winger not striker
With his back to goal he is not the same player as on the wing.
A dead rubber of a game and only one sub by Roy .. the bench had loads of options . There was a point in the game , a minute to go and Townsend ran to get the ball to take a quick throw ...Roy shouted stop , calm it down !!
Literally we set up for a 0-0 at home to a side a few spots above us

Highlight of the game for me was that save ... just wow and I don’t mean Pickford ... he didn’t have to make one save all game !!

No. Just a shot on target, at home, against a mid table team would be good....

Who was it, who deserted his post and wandered into the opposition's half?

It only encourages retaliation.

Yeah, some are. What's your point?

By admitting you understand that some are awful means you understand the problem Mr Hodgson has doesn't it.

The best chance of the whole game was when Kouyate tried to pass the ball to Benteke but messed it up. It may not have resulted in a shot on target but it was an unbelievable chance and absolutely criminal that he over hit it out of play.
They have beaten Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in their recent run and have spent 100's of millions in the last couple of years.
We have spent next to nothing also missing 2 of our best players (Tomkins and Sakho).

Basially matched them over 90 minutes and kept them to a clean sheet with very little worry in front of our goal.

Yes, It was a poor showing from both sides but it is not all doom and gloom.

43 hard-earned points with a goal difference of -5.

Credit to RH - Palace cannot flash the cheque book like the Evertons of the PL.

Really Everton are at that stage we should target, 7th spot.

Palace teams of old would have been routinely beaten 2 or 3 nil.

Money it is.

Hodgson could have the best 23 players in the country at his disposal and still embarrass himself. Wait a sec...

Sounds like the same old. 0 shots on target at home with a fair few chances eked out. Only now have 1 home game this season to show something in front of goal. To be honest even if we spank the Cherries 5-0 it will still be a really disappointing effort at home.

Reminds me of my youth.
