News on this changing by the hour. Apparently, we can't make anyone stateless. Tell that to Assange. She chose Islamic State so she rejected this state and all its values. I also want to categorically state that being pregnant is no defence. There is obviously lobbying and back-tracking going on. Best to find her location and ask the Russians to test their bombs on it. Problem over, hands clean. I made that point earlier someone is preparing the public for her return home. Now she's concerned they will take the baby away from her too right it should be adopted before she can poison its mind.

Made their bed can lie in it is my attitude. But you are right - if you follow the news, statements which were saying earlier we were not interested and it was not our business have changed to 'we cannot ignore this'. Yes we can; let her rot.

The taxpayer should certainly not pay to bring her back. If her family really want her they can go and fetch her. If that's too risky then tough.

After today, why not offer Gavin Williamson in part-exchange? And Grayling on a free? They do far more damage to the UK than this unfortunate young woman could ever do.

She wants to come back because IS lost......That's the only reason....Two dead babies are her fault. She wants to come back because this is the next best thing for her. She has an imported and home grown community here where she will be protected and financially supported. The left have supported this demographic because it votes for them. But this demographic aren't actually left wing. The high majority of them are actually deeply socially conservative who see the left as useful idiots. So at some point as their percentage grows they will look for their own political representation and party. The neo liberals and progressives allowed that situation to happen and to grow....and it will continue to grow and the majority won't integrate because they have ready made communities that don't require it. Short term thinking and dim witted ideology makes a huge mess for future generations to clear up.....and I seriously don't know if they are going to be able to do it.

Seems a bit strange she is seeking publicity for this. Surely if you want to come back you'd be more likely to try and do it with a low profile. Would anyone be surprised if it's a bigger IS publicity stunt. If the UK prosecutes her and takes her baby away she can play the role of the victim.

I think IS will seize on anything to further their agenda. Look how often they claim responsibility for Terrorist acts which they had nothing to do with. No I think that this is a PR campaign by her family and friends to whip up sympathy for her. The BBC has flown out of the blocks this morning reporting the baby has been born.

I suspect you just like playings Devil's advocate but you come out looking like you have had the judge of character part of your brain removed. Sadly, I am cursed with a scientific brain. So when Jimenez said that Shamima Begum went on radical marches with her father I wanted proof. I could find none. I found that another of the schoolgirls' fathers appears to have attended a meeting that included a hate preacher (Abase Hussen, father of Amira), but nothing about this particular man. In fact, this is what Shamima Begum's family said: ''They said they were "utterly shocked" by her lack of regret about joining IS, but that they were the "words of a girl who was groomed at the age of 15" and is surrounded by IS sympathisers.'' Now, if he is actually an ordinary father with a teenage daughter that went off the rails, and if he is desperate to do all he can for the child he loves, I understand that. It is interesting how people latch onto false news to follow their own agenda. It's almost as though people want to blame every Muslim in the world for these four silly, misled 15 year old girls who have ended up doing something dreadful. Why would anyone have an agenda like that? Edited by Mapletree (17 Feb 2019 12.27pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Feb 2019 11.17am) Should pin this post somewhere you can’t miss it. It’s so spot on. Unfortunately some will be embarrassed by it being ‘racist’, or the truth. I noticed these isolated by choice communities years before 2001 and I thought it was strange and problematic then. They aren’t British Asian or British Muslim in my eyes, which are descriptions I personally have no problem with.

But when you take emotion out of the equation and look at what's actually occurring it makes you look to history and the wider world....you kind of wise up. There's a lot of people sleeping as Rome burns.....But that's ok, we didn't start the fire.
