We seem to be hamstrung with regard to transfers in at the moment with the uncertainty around the ownership.
My understanding that for expenditure above a certain amount Parish and the two American owners have to authorise and in the absence of such authorisation such expenditure cannot occur.
It is evident that the American owners were heavily involved in the Benteke signing ( Parish said that they persuaded him) and the long term contractual commitments to Zaha.
If the Americans want out and are no longer willing to put their hands in their pockets the club would seem to be in limbo until the ownership issue is resolved.
May explain why we seem to be looking at loans, free transfers and players coming out of contract.

The uncertainty isn't good at all.
The club should say that unless Zaha is sold in the next week or so he is staying.
We cannot allow this uncertainty to continue and for us to sell Zaha with precious little time to sign a replacement and to use the monies for other transfer activity.

Don't forget the younger players we have at the club such as Woods, Mitchell, Kirby, Dreher and Daly plus there are others. The way things are going we will need as many of them as possible this season.
