He's started 5 of our PL games since he arrived, and he's scored 2 goals, both in away wins. He's not the best at fighting for headers, but anytime he has the ball around goal, he's a threat to score on his own. Unlike, say, everyone else we have other than Wilf. Ok, so he was ineffective in the Huddersfield game, but I'd happily start him every game the rest of the season. He's miles better than anything else we have at that position. Ideally, maybe we'd have Bats and Benteke up front, Wilf and Andros out wide. But if the choice is Benteke who scores once every Halley's comet, or Bats who scores 2 out of 5 games, I'm taking Bats.

Benteke has an adequate cameo appearance and suddenly he's back in favour? Bats is much more effective He has been awful and expensive past two years, end of IMO. He's supposed to be better than adequate FFS
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Batshuayi has never been a conventional target man fighting for balls in the air, he has always favoured the ball to feet or into the channels. He is not a player to win balls in the air as we have witnessed this season. He was certainly disappointing against Huddersfield finding himself offside on a few occasions. He had one chance in the whole game and got blocked. I reckon it he had had the chances Andros and Wilf had had he would have tucked at least one away.
