He can be put on instead of Schlup, that is the complaint from 90 percent of you on match days...its a smart move wether you wanted it or not...

He's fat and too slow to play as winger at this point in his career. He has hit 30 and can only play as center forward from now on, a position from which he has scored some goals, but doesn't completely own and understand Edited by mattteo (26 Jan 2019 1.16pm)

If he was he would not be a professional footballer. You let yourself down with this sort of comment

The club doesn't have much money at the moment so signing Sako is a sensible move and his wages should be reasonable also. Don’t forget they have to buy out 6 months of his current contract. Add that to what we will pay him for 6 months and it’s probably the same as what he was asking for in the summer ? Is it sensible to sensible to sign somebody who know from experience will only be fit to play a few games ?

According to the Birmingham Mail(no link sorry), He's already had a medical & Palace have agreed to take on in full the remaining 6 months of his contract

If he is being signed to be put on the bench with Roy's lack of subs he need not bring his boots with him. As you say let's hope he is just the utility man and not the main signing. We don't even have the luxury of playing him in the Cup/s where half of his goals seem to come from. Edited by Booted Eagle (26 Jan 2019 2.22pm)

Which I suspect is on lower wages than he wanted from Palace, so good move by the club who always wanted to keep him.

I don't understand why we would move Puncheon on, which I think was the right thing to do for the player and the club and then re-sign Sako. He only played well when his contract was running down. Don't get me wrong, I wanted him to stay previously as I thought he might be useful but we have moved on surely. Very disappointing if this is the extent of all the so called hard work Dougie has put in. Well, I hope he does well for us. Welcome back Sako, if he's actually signed. P.S. I think we becoming an old boys club..
