I wonder what happened to that (as it turns out, correct, but ill timed) Newcastle fan that came on to tell us that Alan Pardew was crap just at a time when the last thing we needed was a Newcastle fan coming along to tell us that Alan Pardew was crap. I don't think many of us disliked it because we thought he was wrong, but just the timing of it made him sound so very smug. I'm sure I, and others, argued that Pardew was some kind of demi-God just because we were angry at the way that guy went about his crowing! And by the way, I rest my case that he was only on our page to bait us, because he disappeared at the same time Pardew got fired. I'm not going to say that I think he was some agent of Pardew's trying to expedite his pay-off, but he was at least trolling us despite his protestations to the contrary.

Not quite sure how I got here as was just gorging on BBC World News and you 'orrible lot popped up. Just to put the record straight, my absence/flounce was not directly to do with Nick being got shot of but just couldn't be doing with all the nonsense censorship and over sensitive moderation on here around that time. Too stifling. I give it and you give it back and vice versa. That was The Hol at its best. As someone else said earlier some of the gone but most interesting posters - usually right wing nutters Thank you to those that mentioned me. As for you that didn't. - what a fvcking waste of 000's of posts. I was right about Brexit though
