The stars are coming into line for an inevitable relegation.

What an omen this is after flogging our only decent RB.

Michy isn't coming back, Bentekkers is playing w*** and Wickham will be out for the season before the end of preseason.

Ayew up top it is then. Bleak.

What's your name again, grumpymort?

Let's wait and see what else happens

Just about every season we get the nay sayers, and every season we survive with room to spare.

If we don’t sign some quality, then I will be worried. Selling AWB and Wilf will not make us a better side. Our squad was very limited when they were in the team. With our Chelsea loan going back, we are kidding ourselves if we think we will be alright...

Nah, I'm a realist.

Said of last season we should've finished 8th, this season we are down 100%.

There's a difference between playing negatively every week and trying to slog out 40 points with a couple of world beaters to then trying the same trick without them.

We're down, already put the bet on

Very happy with this signing. Capable of playing in a number of positions and happy to bide his time. Obviously not first choice but a suitable back up. Got better towards the back end of the season and played some good games. A really willing runner, I was impressed with his attitude towards closing things down and playing that unglamorous role despite not getting many minutes. At a couple of million it’s a snip for so many positions being covered.

Another striker who can't score a goal, yeah, over the moon.

Had a season long trial, proved his a championship player at best, got the gig anyway.

We're absolute f***ing mugs. Worst transfer decision in a long time.

This is very much the view of some supporters I have been in conversation with today.

These chaps are normally quite positive about our prospects but at the moment they are not lighthouses of joy, predicting pitchy seas for our team.

Sorry, but did you take notice of last season? A firm Wodgson favourite. When not starting, the go to 75th minute substitute.

I really must agree, relegation fodder, just don't understand the mindset at the top, when it comes to contracts and who they sign, we have been winging it for 2 or 3 years, and unless we get a reboot, that's it all over, we are Down!!

Better as a wide man, not really a striker in my view.

Yeah he’s actually useful out left when there’s a lot of space but not so much when it’s compact.
