Maybe but that smacks of further clutching at straws. Don’t think Kai Kai pulled up that many trees for Charlton. Bit of a tangent but I saw Keshi Anderson and Hiram Boeteng play for Northampton in a league one game season before last and they were both rubbish.

agree with you 100 percent mate , the difference between us and brighton is we have no strength in dept, since brighton were promoted they have invested wisely and have a great scouting team of talent spotters and as a whole have moved forward and got better since promoted . We on the other hand have stood still.(except for the guys chasing mice around thee canteen) . management not at fault sam walked because board would not back him , pulis same . must be very frustrating for roy .

oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton.

My cat just had an operation and is teetering around coming out of the knockout juice, and looking pretty ropey.

She could do a job in our attack compared to Sorloth and Ayew.

Give Kaikai a chance.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I really don't know what it is about Palace.

After 50 odd years of support, we seem to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory every time.

Malcolm Allison being allowed to sell Jacko was unbelievable, and IMO cost us our first, First Division spot.

The team of the '80s fell apart before 1982 was over.

We went from third to relegated in the early '90s, and were a yo-yo team before the last five years in the Premiership.

However, does Parish really have a plan or the money to keep us in the Premiership? Probably neither and, for the good of the club, he may need to think about really serious investment to keep/move us to the next level, let alone keep us up.

I fear we won't have a good Jan transfer window and if that's the case things look ominous.

Some are born winners and others losers. How do we change that mindset at Palace?

Aside from money, the club has to be to built on best practice in everything we do. Best scouts, best academy, best development squad etc. etc. It's not about individuals as much as I love Wilf, it's about a complete club ethos and I fear that is lacking and always has been.

We need to belive we can be winners and build a philiosophy that will stop us forever being underdogs.

55 years on the Palace rollercoaster!

Freedman should know all about good infrastructure. He left us for some. The recruitment and approach to everything is amateur and jobs for the boys. Using the Zaha money well is so key if we stay up and as it’s a longer term solution, Roy may as well go in Lay at the latest whoever makes the call.

I keep saying it but SP is out of his depth, season after season we just scrape it. We have to invest in the squad IMO, just look at the last window!! says it all for me COYP

Parish is a terminal case.

He can not, or will not learn.

Transfer window after transfer window we see mistakes, bad signings, bizarre decisions and ridiculous rhetoric in the press.

We will continue to scrape by, and then one year soonish we will get relegated, as Parish is unable to move us forward.

Unfortunately to many of the fan base relish in the 'Plucky old Palace' bollocks. Well personally I'd like us to try & win some silverware........

You can't pull up trees for Charlton because the plastic pigs have s***ed everywhere and you keep slipping and falling over if you try.

The problem is with our transfer policy so who recommended we buy some of these players?
Who took these ridiculous decisions - that is what I have issue with.
We will not be able to unload some of this dross because they won't leave a cushy Palace job being paid loadsamoney when the offer from eleswhere is by comparison miserly.
Who on earth decided that Sorloth was a half reasonable Prem Centre Forward or many other waifs and strays that we have on the books.
They should be sacked for gross incompetence because we are now lumbered with them and I suspect that FFP dictates that we can't pay them off and get rid so we can start again.
Assuming that SP is being advised by Bright then he must surely take some blame as well.
"What do you think about Sorloth Brighty - you were a Centre Forward - you would know"?
"Looks good to me SP - sign the cheque"!
Nice work if you can get it!!

The other worry is that there are now only three players out injured who admittedly when fit will be good additions but Dann, Benteke and Wickham are all we have to add to a weak bench.
That's it folks - 6 years in the Prem and that is all we have to show for it - a weak squad when it should have been getting steadily better.
