One player who may not get so much recognition today was Kouyate. He was exceptional at dropping back to make up an extra body in the box and breaking forward to make an extra body in the opposing box. He also won countless headers and added muscle where needed. His passing is also looking better. A real box-to-box midfielder that perhaps we've been missing and someone who allows the likes of Meyer/Zaha/Townsend to focus on their job of finding the net. Agreed. Especially RE his passing. Edited by Mstrobez (01 Dec 2018 5.48pm)

We won but there is cause for concern. We scored from a cross and a wonder goal. Our lack of ability to put the ball in the net is a major concern. Great performance here in general though, total domination but we should have scored a hatful. We were so much better than Burnley it’s ridiculous. On another day that’s a total drubbing score wise and these are fine margins. I think we would all like to see another striker in January but if you are concerned after watching that then I think maybe there is no pleasing you. I strongly believe we are comfortably the best team currently in the bottom half of the league. Nobody will be looking forward to playing us for the rest of this season.

The most pleasing thong for me today was the passing. Not a long ball in sight. Meyer,AWB, Wilf, Andros, all great games. It really should have been 4/5-0. I was suprised how poor Burnley were.

That was a thrashing and great to see us break down a side in our half of the table - more like demolish actually. Well done CPFC - a great performance and a good team spirit.
