Mea Culpa!

As it is my second offence I do think that 'Sackcloth and ashes' are order of the day !
Perhaps I am not quite as punctilious as many believe.

Wish we could get a smaller number 10 style player. Creative and flair. Too many target men at the moment!

Who are all these target men?

They're all running around a field with Banjos trying to hit cows. That's probably why they can't score - it's poor training technique!

Piss poor. It’s as simple as that.

Ayew is weaker than a 3 year old and gets knocked off the ball by a gust of wind, looks as much a goal threat as Calvin Andrew.

Sorloth poor desire and body language vs Boro, barely wins any headers, gets outmuscled by smaller players and has no close control or composure on the ball.

Benteke has been a joke in front of goal for 16 months.

Wickham is coming off 2 years out with a major injury and cannot be relied on.

Once again we lack options thanks to our rubbish transfer dealings. Meanwhile Glenn Murray is still banging the goals in.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

You can kick a ball at a life size pile of dog s***. So that’s a target of sorts.

Roy has just announced at the press conference that Wickham is out for a further unspecified period.
I have sympathy with Wickham but he just doesn’t seem able to get fit.
I think we should attempt to loan him out in January if he regains fitness to see if he can play for a sustained period without breaking down.
I fail to see how we can include him as a viable member of the first team squad when he’s never available.
If he can prove his fitness on loan then the subject could be revisited as there’s a good player there.

Guy gets injured but didn't even feature on Weds night !?! Not another training injury like Ward ? Think the running into walls session should end.

yesterday ( 5th Jan V Grimsby ) we played three of our four strikers here is what I think

Sorloth is f###### not very good and we should get rid of

Wickham came on did not do a lot but tried hard and a long way off match fit . I wonder if he will be fit this season .

Ayew looks a lot better at centre forward , as proved with 2 goals in 2 games , or is this just a flash in the pan ?

The mark of a striker is that he tucks the ball in the onion bag. Obviously in the modern game, strikers need to have a bit more about them, but if Ayew's last two games had been his first two for us (if that makes sense) then I'm sure we'd be praising him for two tidy match-winning finishes.

Whatever works, works well.

How can you pledge not to make a mistake?
