A deserved result and in truth, we dealt with any threats well and despite Stoke needing to throw everything at us today they really didn't trouble us. A touch of fortune made their goal unstoppable but despite not being at our best going forward, the possession and spirit in the team keep piling on opportunities and I'm glad we have the points to back up the performance and the turn around this season.

Not a great Benteke fan but he won the header in midfield which led to our first goal.

We looked good today and Stoke looked like a struggling team . Strange thing I feel a bit sorry about putting that last nail in their coffin, perhaps it could of easily been the other way around !

I'm glad PVA's goal was the one that made us safe, he's not always the most consistent of players but I get the feeling he has a real love for the club, I bet that's made his year. Well done lads, job done, now can we please have a nice boring mid table finish next season for once, pretty please with sugar on top?
