Despite the draw we were great and the weekend more or less went well for us. Again next weekend is massive Interestingly there are midweek games after This is because the FA Cup semi finals are at the weekend we play Watford. I'm hoping that Southampton stay up and Huddersfield go down but they'll do well to get anything in the 2 EPL games with the semi final so close. Parrot

We are vulnerable in defence. We cannot manage games to secure the points until the final whistle. We have no strength in depth, hence Hodgson perseveres with minimal substitutions. We have our main striker who has scored TWO goals all season, is bereft of confidence to the extent he cannot hit a barn door from 2 yards.I have accepted that we will be relegated and rest assured I am NOT a good person to live with.Bloody depressing.
Edited by Willo (08 Apr 2018 11.12pm) Surprise, surprise Willo thinks we are down shocker. Will you celebrate when we stay up?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Gameweek 34' by Midlands Eagle So long as we have practiced finishing before the Brighton game I’ll be happy. If they couldn’t see off Huddersfield at home then they can’t be a threat surely?

Late goals, unable to close the game, not defending corners properly, only 1 'clean sheet'in 10 games, main scorer on only 2 goals, lack of depth in squad - can only result in relegation.

Its is pointless trying to speculate what the other teams will do. Two wins from our remaining five matches or a win and three draws should more than likely see us safe. Palace being Palace I don't know which two games they will win, but I am sure they will win at least two.

Listening to talk sport tonight they think West Ham are safe on 34 but claim 36 points definitely will be . In that case we will survive .

In this particular season, I’d say you’re right. There are at least two wins in our run-in, which I think will suffice. However, after 5 seasons in the top flight, I’m disappointed that we repeatedly get to April looking anxiously over our shoulders. After all this time, there should be some solidity in our structure to prevent this from happening every f*cking year. I think that is a whole different subject. There are inherent issues in the club and that will need to either be put right, or eventually the trap door will open for us. Although not this season!! It may just be my dodgy memory, but I have been supporting Palace for 37 years. I think that there have been only two years when we have not been nervously either looking over our shoulder at relegation, or ahead to the playoffs or promotion at around this stage in the season. However stability is definitely key, starting with Roy.

Watford are on a bad run with a manager under pressure. Fingers crossed for a thrashing for the Huddersfield hackers
