Only someone with issues reads a 2000 year old book of allegorical tales and reimagined history and believes it as an absolute truth. It's not your belief that bothers me, it's the fact that people like you will pass this kind of twaddle on to their kids, like my sister in law who sends her children to confession, the stupid cow. lots of Christians read the bible as allegory not as truth, there is a sect of Christians in the C of E who are ATHEIST - they believe in the morality but not the supernatural side, it's called the Sea of Faith if you don't believe me - others believe being religious means you hold life to be sacred not that you believe in a personal God - too much of this debate is in the nineteenth century let alone the 21st.

My question would be, if you don't believe in what the Bible says or even that even some of it is crap, what exactly is the point of being a Christian at all and why would you suppose that a book that tells you some crap isn't all crap?
