Jan transfers seemed more like preparing for the Championship that strengthing the squad. The young Norwegian striker Swedish midfilder and Polish center back are championship players rather EPL quality. Another injury at CB and we are done for.

There will probably be plenty more chances for us (and probably them!) so however badly we might be playing we're still in it. Our defending at set-pieces has been terrible though. I think it's time to get Sorloth on and give Tekkers some support. We can then at least win most of the direct balls we fire up. My positive thought is that Zaha always seems to play better when running towards the Fanatics

Wilf seems disinterested and Benteke - just lost for words. And Cabaye still takes corners and freekicks. PVA and Wayne our two main players first half. Watched Leicester play Swansea yesterday / their top 3 (Vardy, Albrighton and a new kid) were chasing balls like their lives depended on it. Our 3 stands almost still with CB just waving his arms in the middle...got to better this in 2nd half or we'll be back in bottom 3 within a few weeks...

First of all the ref is a total tw*t. The chance from Wilf hit a Newcastle player, not Benteke. Tw*t gives a goal kick. Every 50/50 he is giving their way. The goal was truly atrocious defending. Last 10-15 minutes we have started to attack well and created some good chances. Benteke should hang his head in shame for missing the chance. Some excellent saves from WH has kept us in the game. I think we will win this. Perhaps we need to being on SORLØTH DEMON OF CHAOS.

Tad harsh as nobody has seen them play, lol. Looking at that 45 mins a fair few others seem to be playing at that level.
