Ignore the facts of two international teams, who are better and far more established than the team you gave, and who got beaten by boys. "skillwise" I said, remember? I think I can make a judgement on players skills on the ball whether they are playing 13 year olds or 30 year olds. Have you even been to a live conference game as well as a top level womens match? I will be interested in your opinion when you do but until then...

So you think these U15s beat them through physicality or luck? If you lose 7-0 it's fair to say the other side are a lot more skillful than you. And a pro or semi-pro conference side is going to be more skillful than an U15 Aussie club team. Watching it live or on TV is totally irrelevant to whether or not you can judge the skill level. I've never seen Scotland or Brazil live but I can tell you which are the more skilled.

A very decent club who can attract the better youngsters, and don't forget they will have had some of them since aged 9/10, will have a 14 year old team with more skill than a conference side made up of journeyman players whose level has always pretty much been fifth tier. Chelsea's U15's would p1ss on Guisely FC skillwise but they would still lose. Like Man City Ladies would. Not as much skill as the Chelsea lads but still better than Guisely from what I witnessed in May. I should add that if I hadn't seen Man city Ladies play I would be agreeing with you (in ignorance tbf) Edited by Kermit8 (26 Sep 2017 4.25pm)

Their youth teams, of which this one has only been around less than 10 years and produced no one of real note, would be far below that level. Your casual insults don't add to your argument by the way. That's twice you've done so in the small number of posts I've made over a very long period of time. The reasoning and evidence I've used shows anything but ignorance. You've just used your opinion, which is more than fine, but don't act like it's not a debatable point.

^^^^ "ignorant" as in lack of first-hand experience not stupidity. Suppose it was a wee bit ambiguous but the context should have made it pretty clear it was the former.

In the context of how nasty and divisive this site is in general nowadays, and has been for a fair while now IMO, it wasn't. And the majority of it seems to be a spillover of users from another website who have brought it here.

The casual belittling and insults thrown around have put me off contributing more. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I don't have a very thick skin I'm afraid so this isn't really the site for me anymore.

Sorry Kerm, don't get the reference. I'll assume it's a dig or an insult
