It must be great being a journalist. Read a load of papers and then base your own article on them; "according to reports".

Even if it's win or out he could be excused for something like total dominance, hitting the woodwork 3 times, Burnley keeper getting MOTM and drawing. Or us winning and the cheating Snodgrass type diving and scoring a penalty.

The ultimatum might be just to aim for maximum and cut the experimental fvckling about with our future without wing backs or money to do it etc etc etc.

Why employ a manager to change and sack him after four games when he has not even been able to put out our best eleven Wilf Cabaye McArthur Tomkins RLC all missing games. Burnley away is not a game we should win Spurs and Chelsea could not beat them. Our problem is the same as its been for a long time we gift goals with bad defending and goal keeping. Swansea were poor we gave them two goals, Liverpool should have scored more but we end up gifting them the win.

Sometimes with 3 men behind the ball, or Kelly in a situation where he is CB and LB. ideally he runs the ball away from defender without hardly touching it and back to keeper. But this Martin Kelly. If he had a lb it would've been passed to him.

The Huddersfield win was more to do with 3 at the back than you may want to admit. The other 2 not as much but they definitely contributed to it.

These players being unavailable is a valid point, but it's reminiscent of Pardew. Instead of making it easier for himself he makes it more difficult. Instead of seeing through the period he takes chances or plays players out of position or comfort of formation.

I do get what you're saying but to have Cabaye and Jimmy out v Huddersfield but play punch there, and Luka (after all pre season at CB where a lot of issues originate), with cheek at RF, Townsend on the bench after playing RWB all season and ward at RWB having hardly played there doesn't fill many with confidence.

However I don't want him out tonight and wait to see what he does.

Well if it is true that there is dressing room unrest and that De Boer job hinges on a win at Burnley then it is time to put £££ on a Palace defeat at Turf Moor. They obviously won't try and help the fella.

If that was even remotely true then it would be fecking disgusting. Highly paid professionals not even trying, I'd sack the lot them and play the youngsters, at least they would be playing for their careers.

Hopefully professional pride will win out and, win or lose, we give Burnley a hard game.

The Chelsea players did it with Mourinho to get rid two years ago. They were rubbish on purpose for around 10 games. Not to be admired but they have improved tremendously since his departure.

Be honest - if your boss was a total cvnt you wouldn't work as hard for them as you would for a boss who was great and you respected, would you?

Not saying De Boer is a bad fella, have no idea, but if he is losing/has lost the dressing room don't expect the players to sweat blood for the cause just yet.

If I was being paid anything between £50000 and £100000
a WEEK my pride wouldn't let me not do my best even if the boss was a prize t***. But then again I was brought up by parents and school masters who taught me to always do the best I can because nobody OWED me a living!!

Someone on the BBS said Frank was a guest on Dutch tv in the studio for the Holland game.

Frank said it hasn't been good or the best start or something but he's enjoying it. Said he had dinner with parish and family or vice versa or both families last week or something. Don't know if any of it's true or he means pre or post Swansea. Maybe some Dutch palace fans know.

My guess is that parish doesn't want it to fail, has given Frank a chance to play more to our strengths but must deliver results or be very unlucky to get them rather than not deserve them. The losing of dressing room I'm not convinced is the whole dressing room. May well be a few though and there are decisions Frank's made that could cause that. The selections v Huddersfield and young newbies in for regulars and us being shambolic. Benteke had no service in the 1st half v Swansea, thumped the ball down on the ground on HT and then tactics similar to Sam etc. When did Benteke say they needed to give the new tactics more of a chance?

There must be doubts in their minds. Speroni shaking his head st Frank telling someone some more 3-4-3 instructions. I'd say more doubt the formation than the passing targets. Those that have issues with the passing and moving need addressing IMO.
