Liking the look of Juinor Tallo as a free agent - lets get him in for a trial. Ivory Coast teammate for Wilf.

What harm can it do. Let's do it. Over to the scouts to get it done.

First match 5th October 1974 - not a good day!

Looks like we announced a 24-man squad. So space for a free transfer.

I reckon the Manager, Striker and keeper situation shows we are in a spot of bother. I am delighted Sakho has signed and also says a lot that he believes we are a good club to join. I do NOT wish to knock SP but for heaven's sake why oh why do we not have a decent second striker and back up keeper? Not having any experience running a PL club leaves me wide open to criticism, but I think we can all see the problem here and surely we had enough time to sort it out!! For me I am very concerned about the coming months but I do hope I am so very wrong.

Thanks for your post, Whereas I do agree with you on that part 'Highlighted' we have spent over 70 million just this year alone. Things do look different from a spectators view but for a small club like ours, that is living as close to the edge as our very thin squad that you mention.

Fact of life through past managers we have made mistakes they are not as costly as the ones made by some of the top 10 teams in cash terms but for them, it's relative to their income. We have a 45,0000 Stadium rarely at capacity and a relatively small but loyal fan base. After 5 years we are close to a precipice in terms of cash coming in.

We currently have at least 32 players including our talented U23's and loanees to choose from for Premiership games.

7 or 8 of our 24 of 25 Declared Squad need upgrading.

It's not going to happen overnight, but I am looking forward to the new crop of Palace youngsters breaking into regular first team slots.

Just like so many Palace youngsters who started as young and went on to be squad players, International players and some of them stayed in the game to be managers, football pundits, and even an International Team Manager. (Thanks, Sir Steve)

Makes me as a Palace fan proud for them, and grateful for the times they gave us. Hopefully, we can be proud of this new crop of talents we have.

School, SN.Juniors, SN High, Selhurst. 1st match 1972 CP 2 N. Utd 1. Thank you, John Jackson and Vince Hilair for brightening our darkest days. I moved to the west country in 1983. Always Proud and 'Glad All Over' to be a Palace Fan. ))

Spain are playing Italy tonight without a recognized striker and leading 2-0 HT.

Should be an absolute doddle for us then.

Linked with Sebastien Bassong. CB number 8? Maybe Frank is heeding warnings and will copy the Pulis aim of 8 CB's.

i dunno im rush typing as at work but it clearly states we now have two spaces in our squad, so feasibly a striker/rb/gk, two can now be signed up.

Just been on the club site and counted 24 over 21 players, and that's without that keeper there.

In other important news, Zaha's first name isn't Wilfried.

Dazet Wilfried Armel.

And Mutch has 4 names before surname.

Jordan James Edward Sydney Mutch.
