Average tenure for PL managers now is less than 18 months. This isn't just a Palace problem. Take Wenger out of the equation and it will be around the year mark. If it is 18 months (or less) it would be 6 months without Wenger. He's been there 20 years so adds a whole year onto the average by himself.

Well this site is the space to state opinions and if your really a Palace fan and its your view. Well then that's okay. However, as a cogent augment your really in the minority here as most of us are 100% behind SP and the board. Edited by johnmcormick8 (24 May 2017 2.09pm)

LOOOOOOOOL My reasonable argument is that SP and CPFC2010 have worked miracles at Palace and I'm very happy with the job they do. Unlike some ungrateful tw@ts who think we should get rid of the very people who saved our club. The simple reality is with SP we wouldn't have a club. That's my very simple argument.
Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

This is Oct 2015 where it is higher 2.2, I can't find the article I read last night. Swansea, will bring down the average and of course Sunderland are at least as bad as us. I will see if I can find the article when I get home

Under Parish, we have had 7 managers (Excluding interims) in 7 years. I am just posing the question that IF Parish wasn't "One of us" but an outsider who bought into the club, would he still be receiving plaudits or would he be seen in a different light ? This is NOT intended as any personal criticism of Steve who is 'Top-watt' clever and works diligently and tirelessly for the club, just posing a question to stimulate debate ! He'd still be receiving plaudits look at our league position and the players we have in our squad compared to seven years ago. Which other clubs have in that time come from the brink of bankruptcy to where we are now? HOW MANY? Would happily have gone through all those managers to arrive at Sam and our current league position. Sam's decided to leave and not one person no if his reasons aren't legit. So why is anyone questioning our owner who has helped bring us this far? Because we haven't got a better stadium yet? Jokers if your aren't pleased with what he has achieved in such a SHORT space of time. Spurs have been in the Premiership for how long ? And yet there only now building a new stadium. Completely ungrateful if you think us not YET having a better stadium is a reason to lambast or criticise our owner who HAS brought us so far in such a SHORT period. Good to see if it's the same old trolls baiting.... Edited by Goldfiinger (24 May 2017 6.17pm)

Yes we have a long way from those "Dark days" so huge credit to Parish and CPFC2010.Could never have predicted back then that we would be in the PL in 2017 and been there for a few seasons.Remarkable. Yet there might be some who look at this differently and moan about the number of managerial changes and the ground situation etc. Edited by Willo (24 May 2017 6.16pm)

Well they shouldn't moan. Simple solution to not having so many managers. We could have kept Pardew and be playing in the championship next season. No thanks. The stadium will happen when it happens. It's obviously being worked on. Unfortunately Parish can't just force other parties in to things if they don't want to. Things take time. How long did it take Spurs? They been planning there stadium for YEARS! Ungrateful anyone who doesn't appreciate the job Parish has done. And simply it stops there...
