Pity. Deserved a draw from that. Erikssen lucky to squeeze that in at the post and the fouled and cheated all night. Solid defensive performance otherwise although things definitely more difficult after Sakho went off.

I hope Spurs don't catch Chelsea up after that. Should have been ten men for the whole second half.

Still of more concern is what state Sakho is in. We won't go down for want of a point from that.

Not a pretty game, shame we couldn't of picked up at least a point. Sakho a big loss at the back. Need to regroup and take something against Burnley, hopefully back to winning ways. COYP !!

Thre's a lot of talk about Spuds coming in for Wilf but watching him tonight I was left wondering why they would bother. Don't get me wrong, I love Wilf, but Spuds made him look average tonight.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

Only one team in it in the second half, sadly.

Can't argue with the result. I thought we looked good in the first half, but Sakho's injury and the effort in recent games caught up with us.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Spurs were better but yes, aside from the very good goal, could easily have taken a point. Sakho's injury a concern. Thank God we have the points really. Onwards to Burnley!

Definitely deserved a draw

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I think Walker dominated him tonight. Made a couple of poor decisions. They really ganged up on him though which is a great compliment!

The best side won, they are very good. I do think WH should have done better but the fault rests with leaving Erik so much space. Doesn't detract from the fact WH reacted late, didn't take a step/wasn't set up to move quickly enough to ground, should be getting a lot closer. The dip and pace made it a difficult save but he was incredibly slow. Shame as he's been playing well of late.

Spurs wouldn't have been better in the second half if there hadn't been eleven of them. And there shouldn't have been.

Obviously could have been very different if they were down to 10 in the first half. Especially if you think, as I do, that the difference in the second half was down to the lads tiring.

There was a noticeable difference when their fresh midfielders were brought on in the second half, they stretched the midfield shape and gave room for Alli and ultimately Eriksen to have more space to play in.

The real concern is for Sakho.. we need him if we are to make the most of the matches we have left and I felt we looked a lot more rushed and less composed once he left the field.

I really thought we were excellent though, definitely the draw today. Nothing really to criticise at all, just gutted that we didn't get what we deserved from the game.

If Sakho hadn't gone off, could well have been a 0-0...but never a win.
