I think some of the confidence on here has been mis-placed.Yes I distinctly recall Oldham !

An almost certain defeat tomorrow and some of those who have been "Over-Confident" might change their minds.

I realise that I really shouldn't be feeding the troll, but...
Have you not noticed over the years that the team performs better when the fans get behind them?

Why do you think he's doing what he's doing? Shows all the symptoms of being a Seaweed sockpuppet if you ask me.

How s**t were Watford. Staggeringly bad. Similarly Stoke looked like they were already on Holiday.

At least Deeney had the decency to go and apologise to the fans afterwards and again to MOTD. They should have put the game out of reach before Hull scored though.

They were both a f***ing disgrace. Hughes trying to excuse his team's performance by talking as if his team was actually bothering its collective arse makes me sick.

Maybe because they've only won 1 of their last 11 games, haven't won away from home all season, play man utd tonight and a resurgent palacentre away on saturday. Reckon they're more concerned than us 😎

As already pointed out, many a poor record gets turned around on a visit to Selhurst Park. That doesn't mean it will be, but it's worth bearing in mind.

ManUre 1 up @ Burnley. Probably good but if Burnley had won might be more relaxed Saturday. However can go above them if we produce the goods today. COYP !!

Some people on this site are a bunch of pant wetters. We are not safe. However, we have yet to play this weekend and, remarkably, we are still 4pts clear. We definitely would have taken this before Chelsea. Now calm down, and back the team this afternoon. A point would be great but a loss to Liverpool away would not be a disaster.

Why does a, not unreasonable, concern about mathematical safety have to equal a lack of "backing for the team"? I'm interested. I haven't seen a single comment that suggests anyone is convinced we're for the drop, just a, not unhealthy, dose of realism that we're not safe yet.

Burnley losing 2-0 now. They are definitely in the mix. Looks like we have two home six-pointers coming up. However Burnley have a much easier run-in than us.
As for effing Arnautovic missing the pen v Swansea yesterday....t*sser. Didn't like him when he played at Selhurst. In the ref's face the whole time.

Manure now lead 2-0.
Good news as we could leapfrog Burnley with a point today.
Sets up a fantastic game next weekend and who knows, we may get a point against Spuds.

There has been a lot of that this year and of course not us. So where does being nice get you. Not far.
