Hope you both have a great time.
I love taking my partner to London, she is from a Welsh family and has lived her whole life in Bristol...easily impressed with my limited knowledge of the capital.

Little tip: No 11 bus from Fulham Broadway to St Paul's Cathedral - top deck, front seat, - and you are sorted for a great sightseeing trip for almost nowt. The route is the best.

If a person wants to refer to someone else as "scum" and have their reasons for it, then that's their opinion which they are perfectly entitled to.

Actually, in some circumstances they are not. The law, innit.

It's against the law to refer to someone as "scum"? Really?

When were you last in Croydon and London? If not for some time, then you will be amazed how progressive politics have transformed the formerly nasty, xenophobic areas.

I'm in and out of London on a regular basis and down to watch the boys most home games, it's a different animal to the London I grew up in, even New Cross & Bermondsey have a quieter feeling about them.

Could you clarify the law on this point.

With Millwall fans we know some are pure scum by their seen by us behaviour over the years. Painter said he had to 'step over' some people who were 'asylum scum'.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

It wouldn't come under 'Hate Crime'. Your's wouldn't either I'd imagine. But used within the context of a proper hate speech then it would.

If Nick Griffin went on Question Time and referred to specific ethnics as 'scum' he'd be up before a judge before you could say BN..

Surprised you don't know where the line can't be crossed.

If it wouldn't come under "Hate Crime", then what law would it come under? You seem well versed in the law or are you just making it up?

eh? I just said it wasn't against the law so...er...no law. Jaime is the man for legal matters. I suppose if you had gone off on one and turned it into a 'speech' peppered with more nastiness then 'yeah' of course that is illegal nowadays.
