We will stay up, our team has too much quality to not improve. Sunderland and Palace both will. Leicester and Boro will go Once Sakho, Luka and Schlupp get in we will be better. Thank God we won't need to use Punch, c*** this season.... I wish I had your optimism, but if you cant beat Swansea or Sunderland at home, where will you get points from?

It's that simple. Pardew was due a good run in his roller coaster results career. I honestly don't think we would have gone down simply because we weren't being outplayed by teams like we have been under Allardyce and would have got some wins because his team still had spirit. Unfortunately, 17th was not going to be good enough for a lot of fans so he had to go. More fool them Edited by Kermit8 (04 Feb 2017 4.21pm)

If Hennessey caught that ball this wouldn't be happening right now. And beaten at his near post. No challenging in the middle in the middle of the 4 goals. Ledley shocking in that period. Defenders going the way the forward dummies with his back to go and goes the other way and shoots.

Our new signings will help hopefully but even if they make the team better that is going to be no good points wise against most of the teams we still have to face. We just won't be good enough to pick up points against the big clubs. Edited by Kermit8 (04 Feb 2017 4.23pm)

Why our CBs dont split from the back, be it offside FKs or goal kickicks? Why our FBs dont pass the halfway line or overlap? Least % of penetrative passes in the league over the past 6 games? Add to that under Allardyce all our attacking intent is playing diagonals. Shall i go on.. That is, if you understand what I am talking about... We will do well v Stoke and beat Boro. Sunderland just drew with Spurs, and tactically have improved a lot. Swansea are doing well now too. It won't last however, just believe

We've had a piss poor charlatan for the last couple of 3 years that has ripped this squad apart with his diviseness. Edited by Mo Sizlak (04 Feb 2017 4.29pm)

Even if he did fluke 17th we'd be screwed next season as he damages fitness and professionalism more and more.
