I think the Americans played a big part in his sacking. They are seeing their investment going down the drain and wanted to protect it. Also Pardew wouldn't have impressed them with his comments after the Saints game

And me. Gutted we are taking a huge gamble at this stage. I tend to agree. Really disappointed. I think Pards would have kept us up, his trend is to win runs of games and we had many winnable ones coming up. Top scorers outside the top 4, 11 players in the treatment room. Yep, I feel for him. Guess the new precedent is to win the league with 25% possession most games, who needs a style of play?!On a serious note we need a manager who both knows the basics and gets us purring to help us through the transitional period. I've loved for the first time since Steve Bruce seeing a palace side look comfortable on the ball. Oh well, maybe in another 15 years time!

My understanding was that they were coming in to help front ground redevelopments in order for parish to keep bolstering the squad with the ilk of Cabaye etc. As far as I can see they've been no benefit what so ever (although possibly had a part in benteke deal). Surprised they've not had there own thread, feck me Pards has had shed loads but atleast he gave a s*** and understood us. f***ing PL bulls***

Have you heard of planning permission? Their investment is ring-fenced for ground development (main stand).

How many of those winnable games recently did he win? Zero? How many points? One? Goals conceded? 15-20? Yeah, nailed on wasn't it? This season he's beaten Mboro, Sunderland and a sh1tty at the time Stoke. Then Southampton who were fatigued after a Europa League programme. Anyone who challenged us we could not beat or more often than not let in 2+ goals to. Yeah, nailed on to save us super al was.

But if were playing the long game with them why not the same for the manager? Not a level playing field imo, yet pards has brought so much joy and entertainment. This is only a bitter pill if 1) it was in most part the yanks decision 2) nothing further really happens this season with ground plans and 3) our style of play turns to s***. We need progress and continuity

I make it eight, of which only two were first team starters.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Thanks for last year and the cup final Super Al. I think you left the board with no choice after this year’s form and backing you in the summer. Slightly weird timing but we can only assume someone is already lined up. The thought of BSA coming in doesn't exactly fill me with glee but seem inevitable. Hoping for a Mancini and Lombardo appointment though for Christmas!
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye! |

If he does he'll struggle to get anything ever again. I expect him to be a good boy this time.
