Just passing? We did a fair bit of that today. You should have gone. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend. I streamed it. We had more than half the possession. Against a team that were 6 points clear at the top of the league. They managed one moment of brilliance. Everything else?, well we stopped them doing that. An all round very good performance by us. But that is not enough for the out brigade. They (and you) expect us to keep out the league leaders, and nick a goal on the break. To a team who have lost 2 games this season. Do you think I never went because we never did anything against the league leaders or do you think it could be to do with the last year? Do you think it could be to do with having a manager whose ego is bigger than the ground, but is sadly lacking when it comes to anything else, could it be Parish's lack of action in sorting out the situation.

Don't know you or the original poster. But you sound like a c***. Just like so many new palace fans that rant andwhinge that make us embarrasing to the support palace. Everyone forgets just 6 years ago 2 points from League one....

In. Until say 25 games in at least. We are NOT getting tonked by anybody. If we play like we did vs United and Chelsea, we'll get there. A point a game, that's the target overall. The objective is 17th or better. He should achieve that ok with the players we have. There is no clear alternative. Except Pulis, who would again guarantee safety. But would not be acceptable to SP for obvious reasons. OK, AP is infuriating a fair bit of the time (subs, tactics, selection, positioning etc) but he genuinely is taking us from a 30% possession outfit to a 50% one. And I am enjoying, for probably only the second time in 50+ years (since TV's team), watching a Palace team who consistently pass to each other with accuracy and technique. The challenge now? Encourage Cabaye to deliver every week like recently, get Benteke to graft a bit more, kick Townsend up the a*se, cherish and maximise every moment that we have Wilf, keep Jimmy Mac fit, get behind a fast-improving Hennessey, get Dann back to best, give Damo the armband, and sing our hearts out. Too much sense of entitlement on this forum, get behind the team and the manager. He may be an a*sehole, but he's our a*sehole. There is not an obvious alternative that could hit the ground running. Hodgson/Coleman/Fat Sam? No thanks.
Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

If 20+ years as a Palace fan counts as new, then I'd hate to see things from your perspective. We have a right to rant and whinge all we like.
"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

I've followed us home and away over this bad run and we're f**king shyte, but with a fecking good squad!!! I don't blame the original poster if he f**ked it off to do something better, like for example watching paint dry? People can see Pardew is a failure as a manager and is incapable of turning this shambles around, it's time to act before it's too late.

A few of the moaning bores take note, we are playing in the big league, not suffering the likes of Burley, Francis, Mullery and Taylor in charge. Pardew has a long way to fall to be as sh_t as them.

Pardew has a long way to fall to be as sh_t as them.[/quote}. You're no more interesting than the Pardew out brigade though are you? Let's stick with the same man who has only won six league games all year with this squad? What you don't seem to understand is that if we stick with Pards then we will be back in the championship very soon. Pardew will no doubt walk away with a nice little pay off for his abject failure while we play the likes of Barnsley and Rotheram with someone else of a similar calibre to Burley at the helm, with this talented squad broken up probably selling off our best players to the teams we should have beaten this season, and all because it's 'better the devil you know'.
