There is nobody obviously available to replace AP at this precise moment so I think he will for this reason keep his job for the time being.
I have only missed two games this season both home and away and inspite of our current league position we are a better footballing team than last year.
The players are as much to blame if not more than Pardew for our awful defending,Delaney should come back into the team immediately, since he has been out we have gone to pot.Selling Jedi was a mistake,Soare,s car crash was a disaster, not having Remy available hasn't helped,Ledley 's recent injury has cut our options, both our goalkeepers have not exactly covered themselves with glory and all a lot of you can do is blame the manager,he can only work with what is available and hopefully they will pull their fingers out and perform for the loyal fans and the manager in the next couple of weeks.

I don't think you understand the game? The idea is NOT to lose and the team should be set up accordingly.

The sort of Kamikaze football Pardew is currently advocating will see us in the Championship sooner rather than later.

His tactics are indefensible and how you could possibly say "we are a better footballing team than last year" given our relative positions in the league now and leading up to last Christmas says it all really!

I am very disappointed he appears to be so incapable but I fear he's unlikely to get any better. We need to get rid of him before he does any more damage.

Whether Pardew should go or not I don't want park the bus football returning to Selhurst Park scoring one or two goals in fifteen games.
I need the entertainment factor at a minimum and Pardew provides that at least.

What - all the way blindly into the Championship where we would be ill equipped to make a swift return?

Enjoy the championship then.

I agree with this post. Well reasoned.

Shocking that Pards didn't meet the players until Monday. Should have been dragged in Sunday and read the riot act.

Agree we want to see entertaining football, but Pardew's transitional style is not working.
To prevent a return to the Championship,he has to eat humble pie, admit his plan was too ambitious and revert to a Pulis style,to make us more water tight at the back. As it is,all teams, including relegation favourites fancy their chances of an easy win as they are all aware of our chaotic defence.
Think he needs to get in a new defensive coach as Keith Millen, currently responsible for this area, has proved to be overwhelming useless and should be replaced.

I think that there would be uproar from the fans if Pardew managed to hold onto his job by making a scapegoat of Millen and getting rid of him.

I don't think so. By all logical accounts he should, I'm pretty sure everyone will agree, but the board have stuck by him this long already. As much as I love Parish, I can't help but feel he's being extremely stubborn and I can't see that changing anytime soon

I disagree. Season 1: for Pardew: top half of table finish. Season 2:First FA Cup final since 1990. Season 3 we are not even halfway through. Not to mention the fantastic squad he has built and the good football we play. Why sack him. More importantly who will come in and do better? The buffoon Allardyce? Judas Freedman? Jurgen Klinsmann? Bitches please!

With our reasonable squad of players you really don't think that there is anyone out there who can get them winning more than a handful of games in almost a year?

If that really is the case then Parish might have to think about selling the whole squad in January, giving up trying to be a football club and selling the ground for redevelopment

Often you just need a new voice in the dressing room with different ideas to galvanise a squad of players.

Dare I say it - When Steve Bruce joined A.Villa they were in the doldrums in 20th place. They had only won 1 of their previous 10 games and that was at Home to rock-bottom Rotherham. Under Bruce A.Villa have won 4 and drawn 3 and he has been unable to bring in any new players. They are now mid-table, 4 points off the play-off places.
