OK, how about his team "style" being some sort of foul hybrid of Pulis, Freedman and Peter Taylor?

LOL sorry mate can't take you seriously after that, did you ever see Bolton play football, one of the most fluid sides I have ever watched, check out a player called Jay Jay Okocha on you tube, one of the most mercurial, and naturally gifted players to have graced the prem. Widely touted as the greatest African player ever, they even have a massive stadium named after him. Now why would Dour Big Sam allow such a talent in his boring one dimensional sides ?

I'd prefer the likes of a "South London / Surrey borders geezer" type like Pardew to a "dour, greedy, unlikeable northerner" like Big Sam.

If he got the job (if and when it became available) and got us up to mid table, you'd like him soon enough.

We are playing too well to go down. Once the mistakes either stop or reduce (as they surely will), the points will accrue.

And yet still only 5 wins in 33, how many teams have thought they were to good to go down, Leeds, Man city, Man United, Newcastle, Forrest. All much bigger clubs than us at the time they were relegated, and yet you think us to good to go down ? did you watch the West Ham Game ? or the first half against Burnley ?

We are not playing "too well" to go down, in fact, if we continue with our current point swerving form we will be down by the end of Mar 2017.

thats why we are changing style to suit our players, and not playing that pure counter game he enabled us to do.

No we bought an alleged like for like in Townsend, that's worked out well hasn't it

Remind me how much football Sam's teams have played since Jay Jay Okocha's Bolton days?

And, whilst we were truly poor in the back end of last season, you can't honestly say that the team has been playing poorly in the recent run outside of individual errors that have been turned into goals pretty much every time. If we were being outclassed and outplayed routinely, I would be more worried.

Anyway, I'll take a leaf out of your book and not take you seriously anymore either simply because you don't share my opinion.

Spurs want rid, audacious bid for Pochettino.

We could wave JurgenK in front of them in return

That's your opinion, Opinions are like Arseholes every one has them, just some stink.

You think mine does, I think yours does.

One simple question for you... If our piss poor run continues past Christmas, are you still going to back Mr Wonderful ?

We were no better off with Bolasie, as you like to point out in nearly all your posts. Made a £15m profit on the deal!

This.

I would have Allardyce - had he not been caught engaging in some seriously dodgy business while barely installed as manager of the national team.

It's quite sad that so many are willing to completely overlook this. I know football is full of corruption and greed, but that doesn't mean we have to go along with it. Have some f*cking standards people.

EDIT: I'll add that, thankfully, I trust Parish not to go there.

I think even if he was tempted given what happened with Moody, he won't.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I share your concern and should we lose to relegation favourites Swansea,6 defeats in a row will be presumably too much for SP and the board and Pardew will be quite rightly fired.
However, think we will win on Saturday which may just start a famous Pardew mini run until the next inevitably crisis.
