We were pretty boring when pullis was in charge and we still sold out. Maybe we've just got more/better fans.

Hull lack of attendances is almost all down to their ownership, with no season tickets and fans having to buy tickets every game. Unbelievably daft.
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

The gaps would soon appear if we were not in PL and there would also be big decline in PL revenue in the Championship, thus not allowing us to invest in the team for the future. Professional football clubs are in the results business, playing entertaining football and losing most weeks has been the downfall of many teams. However playing boring football not conceding and winning 1-0 was how the Gunners won the PL under George Graham, its your choice but for me I want the Eagles to be an established PL club and I'm not sure that is possible under AP as unbelievably he thinks shipping goals is not important!

Yeah, George Graham... how many years ago!? Funnily enough, some French bloke came in and installed scintillating football within their ranks. They then won the PL 3 times, once unbeaten, and 6 FA Cups...

But we don't sell out very often, and when we do there are always a thousand or two empty seats on match day.

Dan, it was a few years ago, the difference being Arsenal have been a long established PL team and as a consequence were financially secure and were then able to invest mega bucks by CP standards in building a team with quality but expensive players. There are many examples of teams who play good football but have been relegated from the PL because they conceded too many goals.

Carry on likea baby shambles and we will be down and in a couple of seasons a 14th place team in the championship instead of premier league. SP knows what and when to do it so we should be alright.

This is where Pardew fails to see the medium term just like he goes gunt ho and forgets the next games may bring nothing just like the ones before. Sunderland and Liverpool last season for example. AP must read or hear these comments, why can't he give us some insight on his thinking as from the outside he seems not to care that we are in such a dire position.
