A sending off always effects both teams badly, no red and it would have been much easier for us to get that goal.

Oh come on you cant critisce pardew for.not hauling off ledley on 30mins! Would have humiliated the player. Not like he was having a shocker, and he made the sub at HT when pen or last min header gone in wed have been one each... but yes disappointing performance. Bilic got it spot on and we were far too slow in reacting...

Over reaction. We almost always lose after the international break; and pretty always at home to spam. Next match Dann will be back and we will rediscover the mojo.

The top managers would have changed things as soon as they realised it wasn't working, Pardew doesn't react quick enough Do 'top managers' make many unforced substitutions before half time? He made two substitutions at HT. I mean, come on, you can't say he didn't react quick enough!

What a surprise, your on criticising the only thing you know how to.Players let us down today not the manager. Anyway shouldn't you be dressed up scaring people with your make up and big red shoes? ..yep exactly, the final ball was just a bit off today and Benteke who played well in getting himself into good positions just kept on utterly ferking it up! Pleased to see us attacking the way we did though, west ham were a little fortunate in the end to just hang on, but that goal deserved to win it.

We definitely can't blame the ref. What about the weather? Come to think of it, we can blame the ref - he should have abandoned the match because the pitch was waterlogged.

Very unfortunate not to get the draw. Pards did the business at half time but the players couldn't get the result. On a separate note, West Ham and their fans are the worst.

Where was the team from the 2nd half against Everton ? Toothless opening against a 3-5-2 team which will be noted by other managers. Need some attacking quality through the middle which may only come in Jan. If the wingers aren't firing we basically have nothing. No shot on target for 60 mins at home isn't acceptable against any team.

Yeah that was frustrating but what could he do really?! The only thing Pardew tried was swapping the wingers. He could easily have instructed Kelly and Ward to push up more than they did perhaps. However, he made the right subs at halftime (maybe; Fryers ultimately didn't add a lot but Ledley and Kelly needed to come off). It's pretty ballsy to have taken them off before half time! Edited by ItsCPFCforme (15 Oct 2016 7.46pm) Try playing on the floor through the middle if 99 crosses don't work out! That's what comes to mind of a 4 year old

I agree but....if they are playing with some Championship standard team mates, which they are, then they get dragged down. We need to upgrade on four players at least. No they aren't. Delany and possibly Ledley are championship standard. The rest are established quality players. They just didn't turn up today.

Apart from the fact that you are completely contradicting yourself by saying we were too slow to react but it would have been wrong to make a sub after 30 minutes I understand why AP didn't do it.We haven't got a City or Chelsea size squad, we rely far more on a healthy team spirit and Ledley has been playing well to be fair to him.I do however disagree with you saying he wasn't having a shocker,i knew inside 10 minutes he was lost today.Bilic did get it right and we were the victims of his new formation, its tough but it happens and its how we react next week that matters imo.
